What's new with DJI Goggle RE?
Appearance-First of all, the DJI Goggles RE have a completely different color than before, appearing in a metallic matte black finish with a visor and headband.
The included Pagoda antenna can switch between digital and analog transmission for many applications and scenarios, and is mainly used for FPV racing.
A striking difference is the all-new, high-quality red leather padding lining the inside of the armband. The original DJI Goggles were comfortable, but these are at a higher level.
Functionality- DJI Goggles RE retains all the features of the original DJI Goggles and is compatible with all DJI drones for immersive FPV flight. This means they are perfect for watching movies or playing consoles in the comfort of your sofa.
But if the name didn't hint at it, the DJI Goggles RE were precisely designed and engineered for FPV drone racing.
DJI Goggles RE are compatible with OcuSync's video transmission module and high-performance camera module, which work in tandem to transmit a digital video signal from up to 7 km (US) away, with a latency of just 50 ms.
DJI Goggles RE is also compatible with two other antennas. The cylindrical antenna produces a more focused signal, which is good for long-range transmission. The dipole antenna is ideal for flying in all directions, enabling sharper FPV moves in wide-open spaces. Both are sold separately.
Which are for you?
In fact, it depends on what you want to do with them. If you want standard goggles with high functionality-just buy the standard version of DJI goggles. How about being seduced by DJI Goggles RE? Sure- the new color and comfortable red leather are tempting. Especially if you are the type of person who wants to race drones with the best FPV possible. In this case, it is obvious which goggles to choose.
