DJI Power 2000 - Premiere of new power station from DJI

DJI announces the release of a new power station DJI Power 2000. In the following article, we describe the parameters of the station and the novelties that DJI has introduced relative to other models. We also provide examples of how the station can be used in everyday cases.
Power station design DJI Power 2000
DJI Power 2000 is a compact station with a large capacity. Housing with dimensions dimensions 448×225×324 mm it fits easily into the trunk or back seat of a car, and the thoughtful arrangement of ports and buttons on the front ensures intuitive operation - no searching for cables or switches.
Robust construction can withstand pressures of up to 1 ton, and can withstand humidity, temperatures of -10°C to 45°C, and the ability to operate at altitudes of up to 5,000 m n.p.m. makes the station ideal for field tasks, even in demanding conditions. The cell type is LFP with a long life (up to 4000 cycles at 80% capacity), which translates to about 10 years of daily use.
Hybrid mode and UPS
Power Station DJI Power 2000 offers an advanced hybrid mode that allows you to combine direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) power supply, maximizing charging efficiency. The system automatically prioritizes the use of solar energy, which helps reduce grid power consumption and lower bills. When combined with additional modules, the input power can reach as much as 3,000 watts. This is an innovative mode that was first applied to power stations from the DJI.
In addition, the built-in uPS (uninterruptible power supply) mode switches the station to power backup mode in just 10 ms after detecting a power outage. This is twice as fast as its predecessor DJI Power 1000. This ensures that devices - from computers to servers to medical equipment - remain secure and active. This is a key feature where every second matters.
Operating time and charging capabilities
With a capacity of 2048 Wh and a maximum power of 3000 W, DJI Power 2000 many applications. On a single charge, the station can power a smartphone for up to 114 times, a coffee maker for 110 minutes, and a refrigerator for up to 40 hours. Microwave? Up to 2.6 hours of continuous operation. Lighting? Up to 180 hours. DJI he says these are not estimated numbers but specific figures that show how long a station can operate.
Charging is also impressive - via a classic AC outlet you can reach 80% in just 45 minutes, and a full charge in 75 minutes. In the field, you can use solar panels (up to 1,800 watts), which - with the right kit - will also charge the station in 75 minutes. In addition, from a car socket (using the DJI Power 1kW or 1.8kW charger), the station can be charged in approx. 145 minutes.
Examples of applications
DJI The Power 2000 is a versatile power station that will prove itself in many situations - both everyday and specialized.
At home - as a reliable backup in case of a power outage, allowing you to power your refrigerator, router, lights or computer.
In the outdoors - as a mobile power center for cooking, working with a laptop, and even charging film equipment and drones. On set - as a fast source of battery charging (DJI Mavic 3 you will charge from 10% to 95% in 32 minutes, DJI Air 3 - in approx. 30 minutes, using appropriate SDC cables).
The station will also successfully will also power electric tools in a mobile workshop, small household appliances during camping or camping, as well as provide energy in emergency situations.
Accessories and DJI Home app
DJI Power 2000 works with a wide range of accessories that increase its functionality and convenience. Available separately photovoltaic panels (e.g. LINKSOLAR 200W and IBCPOWER 200W) will work well on the roof of an RV or in the field, ensuring independence from the network.
Additional 2048 Wh batteries allow you to expand the system up to 22,528 Wh, which significantly increases the working time.
For travelers and RV users, DJI has prepared a dedicated 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger, allowing fast charging from both the car and solar panels. MPPT module with adapter increases solar efficiency, and transport cart makes it easy to move station in difficult terrain.
In turn the DJI Home app gives you full control over your device - remotely start or stop AC ports, check power levels and adjust charging settings. The intuitive interface makes managing the station quick and easy.
Summary
To date, DJI has offered smaller capacity power stations. DJI Power 2000 is still a compact station but it already has 2048 Wh which translates into a much wider range of applications.
Compared to the competition, for example, the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max - a product of similar capacity - offers many similar features, but with a lower maximum output power (2400 W vs. 3000 W at DJI). DJI also provides faster AC charging (80% in 45 minutes) and greater potential for system expansion to over 22,000 Wh.
