Its transmitter supports direct connection to DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, DJI Osmo Action 4 or DJI Osmo Pocket 3 without the need for a receiver, which provides excellent sound quality and simplifies the hardware setup and work process.
What are the differences between the different sets of DJI Mic Mini? How to choose the right one for you?
- Kit DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + charging case) includes charging case, one receiver and two transmitters in black. It provides longer working time and works well for audio recording by two people.
- Kit DJI Mic Mini (1 TX + 1 RX) includes one receiver and one transmitter in black. It will be suitable, among other things for artists working alone.
- Transmitters DJI Mic Mini (white) i DJI Mic Mini (black) can be used with smartphones and devices such as DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, DJI Osmo Action 4 or DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
Do you need to activate DJI Mic Mini?
DJI Mic Mini is ready to use without activation. However, you can scan the QR code on the packaging to register for a one-year warranty extension.
How to update the software of the transmitters and receiver DJI Mic Mini?
- Connect the DJI Mic Mini receiver to your phone using the USB-C adapter and update the receiver and transmitter software in the DJI Mimo app.
- The DJI Mic Mini transmitter can also directly connect to your phone via Bluetooth to update the software.
- When using an iOS mobile device, firmware updates to the DJI Mic Mini are supported only via Bluetooth, not via a USB-C or Lightning connection.
How to pair DJI Mic Mini transmitters with a receiver?
Transmitters and receiver are already paired by default. If you need to pair them again, you can do it in several ways:
- Method 1: place the transmitters and receiver in the charging case to connect automatically.
- Method 2: turn on the transmitters and receiver, then press and hold their pairing buttons. When the status indicator on the transmitter flashes green and blue alternately, it means that the connection process is in progress. When the status indicator turns blue, the pairing is complete.
To end the pairing process in progress, turn off the devices.
How many recording modes does DJI Mic Mini offer??
DJI The Mic Mini offers three recording modes: S (Stereo), M (Mono) and Ms (Mono Safety Track).
- S: Stereo mode. Audio from two transmitters is recorded through separate channels.
- M: Mono mode. In mono mode, the sound recorded by two transmitters will be combined into one channel.
- Ms: Mono with Safety Track mode. DJI The Mic Mini will record two tracks, with the main track at standard volume and a backup track at -6 dB to prevent distortion in the event of a sudden increase in source volume.
*If you use Ms (Mono Safety Track) mode, you must separate the tracks during post-production.
What features the charging case DJI Mic Mini offers?
The charging case DJI Mic Mini can be used to pair transmitters with the receiver, as well as to store transmitters, receiver and smartphone adapters (USB-C and Lightning). When fully charged, it allows you to charge two transmitters and one receiver about 3.6 times.

Can USB-C and Lightning adapters for DJI Mic Mini be used interchangeably with adapters for DJI Mic, DJI Mic 2 and DJI Pocket 2?
USB-C and Lightning to DJI Mic Mini adapters cannot benefit interchangeable with adapters for DJI Mic, DJI Mic 2 and DJI Pocket 2.
Are the DJI Mic Mini transmitters and receiver compatible with DJI Mic and DJI Mic 2 devices?
Transmitters and receiver DJI Mic Mini are not compatible with DJI Mic and DJI Mic 2.
What is the maximum transmission range between transmitters and receiver DJI Mic Mini?
The maximum transmission range between the transmitters and the DJI Mic Mini receiver is 400 meters.

How long does it take to fully charge the transmitters and receiver using the charging case DJI Mic Mini? How long does it take to fully charge the charging case alone?
It is recommended to use a 5 V / 2 A charger (max.) for charging transmitters, receiver and charging case DJI Mic Mini.
At room temperature, it takes about 90 minutes* to fully charge the transmitters using the charging case, and about 100 minutes* for the receiver. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the charging case.*

How to enable noise reduction in DJI Mic Mini? How to adjust noise reduction levels?
You can enable or disable the noise reduction function by pressing the power button on the DJI Mic Mini transmitter once.
When recording with your phone or camera, you can adjust the noise reduction levels (Strong or Basic) using the app DJI Mimo.*
Noise reduction levels (Strong or Basic) can also be set directly in the product interface when using DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, DJI Osmo Action 4 or DJI Osmo Pocket 3 connected to one or more transmitters via DJI OsmoAudio.
*When the transmitter connects directly to a smartphone, there is no way to adjust the level of noise reduction in the DJI Mimo app. The default setting is Strong.
How DJI Mic Mini differs from DJI Mic 2?
Here are the main differences DJI Mic Mini and DJI Mic 2:
- Mic Mini weighs only 10 g, making it 60% lighter than DJI Mic 2
- active noise reduction in two variants (DJI Mic 2 one variant)

Does the DJI Mic Mini support power saving and automatic shutdown after a period of inactivity?
The DJI Mic Mini transmitter supports automatic power saving, which works only when the device is turned on. Transmitter automatically enters power-saving mode when it does not detect signal from receiver. When the signal is detected again, the transmitter will wake up and reconnect to the receiver.
DJI Mic Mini supports automatic shutdown after a period of inactivity, which must be configured in advance for both the receiver and transmitters using the DJI Mimo app. Auto shutdown time is set to 15 minutes. The logic behind the operation is as follows:
- When automatic shutdown is enabled for the receiver and transmitters: if no signal is detected, the transmitter will go into power-saving mode without shutting down, and the receiver will remain on. After 15 minutes, both devices will automatically turn off.
- When automatic shutdown is enabled for the receiver and disabled for the transmitters: if no signal is detected, the transmitters will go into power-saving mode without shutting down, and the receiver will remain on. After 15 minutes, the receiver will automatically turn off while the transmitters remain in power-saving mode without shutting down.
- When automatic shutdown is enabled for transmitters and disabled for the receiver: if no signal is detected, the transmitter will go into power-saving mode without shutting down, and the receiver will be on. After 15 minutes, the transmitter will automatically turn off while the receiver remains on.
- When automatic shutdown is disabled for the receiver and transmitters: only the transmitters will go into power-saving mode when they do not detect a signal, and none of the devices will turn off automatically.
What is the magnetic strength of the clip for DJI Mic Mini?
DJI The Mic Mini uses multipole magnetization and has enough force to lift a block of iron weighing up to 2.3 kg (23 N). It is strong enough to stay on a T-shirt or sweatshirt, but will not work on a down jacket.
Can the magnetic clip for DJI Mic Mini have a negative impact on bank cards?
It is recommended to keep the magnetic clip DJI Mic Mini away from bank cards, pacemakers, RAM chips and hard drives.

When the transmitter is connected to a phone via Bluetooth, does it support audio recording during live broadcasts?
Depending on the compatibility of the live streaming app and smartphone operating system. You can test this with Bluetooth headphones or headsets. If you are unable to record audio using headphones or a headset for live broadcasting, the transmitter does not support this function when connecting to a phone via Bluetooth.
How to connect the transmitter to your phone via Bluetooth?
To establish a connection, turn on the transmitter. Press and hold the pairing button for two seconds and the phone will automatically search for available Bluetooth devices. When DJI Mic Mini appears, select it to complete the pairing. When the status indicator of the transmitter turns blue, it means that the connection has been completed. If your smartphone can't find DJI Mic Mini, turn off the Bluetooth connection on your phone, then turn it back on and try again.

How many transmitters can be connected to simultaneously?
Transmitters DJI Mic Mini can directly connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth. When the transmitter connects directly to the phone, noise reduction cannot be adjusted in the Mimo app and defaults to Strong level. Low Cut settings are also not supported in the application.
Can I use the DJI Mic Mini transmitter as a voice recorder?
Transmitter DJI Mic Mini has no internal memory, so it cannot function as a voice recorder.
How many transmitters can be paired with the DJI Mic Mini receiver?
The DJI Mic Mini receiver can be paired with with up to two transmitters simultaneously.
Can the DJI Mic Mini receiver transmit audio data to devices with XLR input ports?
No, the receiver DJI Mic Mini cannot transfer audio data to devices with XLR input ports.
When I connect the DJI Mic Mini receiver to my phone, can I play the recorded audio on my phone?
You can play the recorded audio on your smartphone without unplugging the receiver.
Does DJI Mic Mini support simultaneous charging of phone and receiver?
