No, the drone DJI Flip does not support Manu modeal.

Does DJI Flip support obstacle avoidance?

Automatic braking is supported only when flying in Normal and Cine modes, as well as when returning to the takeoff point. Intelligent functions (including object tracking) do not support obstacle avoidance.

When taking off from the palm of your hand, using the DJI Fly app or using the control camera, the drone slows down and automatically brakes when it detects an obstacle within 1m in front of it. The device can perform emergency braking if the speed is less than 3 m/s. However, if the speed is 3 m/s or more, the braking distance may be insufficient, with the risk of collision with an obstacle. Always keep a close eye on your surroundings and use smart features in open spaces.

Does DJI Flip support auto-on when arms are unfolded and auto-off when arms are folded??

DJI Flip supports automatic activation when arms are extended - turns on automatically when any of the rear arms are extended. When the device is disassembled, it will also automatically turn on when the battery is replaced, allowing you to quickly resume flying.

If the drone is not performing updates, playback or downloads*, folding both rear arms will trigger a countdown to automatic shutdown. Pressing any button during the countdown cancels the shutdown process.

These features can be disabled in the app settings when the drone is connected to the control camera.** When you do this, the device will not automatically turn on when the arms are unfolded, nor will it automatically turn off when the arms are folded.

*If a collision has occurred during the current flight, the folding function for shutdown will not be activated for that flight.
** Update your drone's software and DJI Fly app to the latest version to access these settings.

Why Wi-Fi transmissions experience different levels of latency and connection problems in different environments?

Wi-Fi signals are easily interfered with by other wireless signals. In urban areas, interference is stronger, leading to more frequent delays and disconnections. In suburban areas, parks and other environments with less interference, Wi-Fi transmission is more stable and provides a better experience.

Why Wi-Fi transmission delays or disconnects when I turn around?

The human body can significantly interfere with Wi-Fi signals. To ensure stable Wi-Fi transmission, keep the phone facing the drone and avoid obstacles between the phone and the drone.

Does the maximum transmission range of the O4 system change depending on the level of interference in the environment?

In different environments, the level of wireless interference varies, which affects the maximum transmission range.

  • No interference:
    Strong interference: urban landscape, about 1-1.5 km;

    Medium interference: suburban landscape, about 2.5-7 km;
    Low interference: suburbs/coast, about 7-13 km
  • With interference:
    Low interference and building obstructions: about 0-0.5 km;
    Low interference and tree obstructions: about 0.5-2 km
