Robot for learning coding (Robot Botley) Learning Resources LER 2936
Help your child combine learning with fun. The Botley robot from Learning Resources allows children to learn the basics of coding, analytical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and more. It can be programmed to follow specific paths and perform specific tasks, such as avoiding objects or moving objects. The toy is suitable for children from 5 years of age.
Combine learning with fun
The set includes an easy-to-use remote control with which the child can program the robot, create loops, use the object detection function, plan conditional tasks and much more. It is possible to encode a sequence of up to 80 steps - the length of one step is approximately 20 cm. Little users also have 40 cards at their disposal, which make it easier to create complex programs. The package also includes detachable arms - once installed, Botley will be able to move selected items.
Lots of possibilities
The robot is able to detect black lines and move along them. Thanks to this, the child can create routes for him using the boards included in the set or draw his own - all you need is a white sheet of paper and a thick marker. Additionally, Botley detects objects - it can be programmed in such a way that, for example, after hitting an object, it changes the direction of travel. Special movement sequences are also available, after which the robot will perform various tricks. Testing them will certainly bring your child a lot of joy!
