Lighting DJI Zenmuse S1 for Matrice 350 RTK
The Zenmuse S1 is the first reflector from DJI, which is designed for advanced missions by Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 350 RTK drones. The spotlight is based on LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) technology, which generates intense white light, providing brightness of up to 35 lux at 100 meters and effective illumination at ranges as far as 500 meters. The device also offers a range of operating modes, making it a versatile tool for night operations - whether in the context of search and rescue operations, industrial inspections or operational tasks carried out after dark.
Tailored to every mission
The DJI Zenmuse S1 spotlight offers a choice between several dedicated lighting modes. The Low Beam mode guarantees a wide field of view (15°) within a radius of up to 150 m, making it ideal for short-range inspection and search operations. High Beam, using LEP technology and 15x magnification, provides precise illumination with a 4° angle at a distance of up to 300 m. Both On mode combines the capabilities of both modes, offering a range of up to 500 m, ideal for tasks requiring simultaneous illumination of close and distant objects. A Strobe mode is also available - it emits flashes at a frequency of 5 Hz, useful in emergency situations when quick attention is needed.
Powerful light with minimal power consumption
The Zenmuse S1 offers exceptional light output, achieving a central light intensity of 35 lux in Both On mode at a distance of 100 meters. Such high brightness makes accurate terrain analysis possible even in conditions of total darkness. Importantly, the spotlight was designed with energy efficiency in mind - in High Beam mode it consumes only about 17 watts, allowing for longer flight times without overtaxing the drone's power supply.
Safe use in all conditions
Designed for long-term use, the Zenmuse S1 is equipped with a number of technical safety features, including protection against overheating, current overload and power failure. The plastic housing effectively insulates heat, limiting the temperature of the contact surface to below 50°C - even under heavy use, protecting operators when replacing components. In addition, an eye protection system automatically reduces light brightness to 40% when the drone is not in flight, protecting users from glare.
Intuitive controls at your fingertips
The Zenmuse S1 is designed with ease of use in mind - full control is possible from the drone's controller. The operator can quickly turn the spotlight on or off, change the light mode or adjust its brightness thanks to assigned keyboard shortcuts. Such integration makes it easy to operate the spotlight even in dynamic field conditions.
Ready for off-road challenges
With an IP54 rating, the Zenmuse S1 effectively resists the effects of dust and water, making it an ideal choice for tasks carried out in harsh weather conditions. Its operating temperature range of -20°C to 40°C allows it to function reliably in both frigid and hot environments without sacrificing performance.
Lightweight, compatible and easy to install
The spotlight weighs only about 760 g, making it easy to transport and install. It can be mounted on the top or bottom gimbal port of DJI Matrice 300 RTK and 350 RTK drones - either single or dual. Such a solution allows operators to flexibly adjust the configuration of the equipment to the specific mission and operational needs.
Create custom applications with the Mobile SDK
The device is fully compatible with the DJI Mobile SDK, allowing operators to develop dedicated mobile applications. This makes it possible to implement new features, personalize the operation of the searchlight, and further customize the system to the specifics of ongoing operations.
Spotlight for special tasks
The Zenmuse S1 is a versatile tool that works in a variety of sectors - from rescue and police operations to technical infrastructure inspections. Its powerful illumination supports night patrols, makes it easier to locate people in need of assistance, and allows technical teams to quickly identify faults and carry out necessary repairs. It's an indispensable support wherever precision and reliability matter after dark.
