DJI Dock 2 is equipped with an advanced weather monitoring system to ensure the safety and efficiency of aviation missions. The system integrates a number of sensors, including:
- Rain sensor - detects rainfall in real time, allowing the mission to be suspended to protect the drone from damage,
- Anemometer - measurements of wind speed and direction help assess flight safety and prevent dangerous situations,
- Thermometer - monitors the ambient temperature, making sure the operating conditions are within the acceptable range for the drone.
The combined sensor data is analyzed live and, if necessary, the system sends alerts to the operator. In addition, DJI Dock 2 integrates with weather forecasts online, which allows for preemptive mission planning and prevents damage to the drone.
