The rate of descent is reduced depending on the area of the cover. Each Kronos parachute is designed with guards to keep the drone as horizontal as possible during descent, which serves to minimize potential impact damage.
COMPATIBILITY WITH EASA POWER M2
EASA has published new proposed compliance measures for drone-mounted systems to reduce the force of impact on the ground in the event of a crash. The document is aimed at drone operators who are considering equipping a drone with a parachute or demonstrating that the drone has a feature that reduces its impact energy in the event of a crash or failure. The document is also intended for drone manufacturers and manufacturers of mitigation systems (parachute recovery systems).
MOC Mz determines the level of resilience required for the safety system in case the drone loses control and falls to the ground.Depending on the level of resilience, the value of the adjustment can reduce or increase the GRC. The more effective the measures, the higher the correction value and the lower the GRC. If the final GRC is higher than 7, it is not possible to apply for SORA.
The ground risk class (GRC) assessment is covered in steps 2 and 3 of the SORA procedure. GET CLASS C5
To obtain the C5 class designation for the drone DJI Mavic 3 Enteprise (3E / 3T / 3M), the operator does not need to directly install the accessory kit, but convert from C2 to C5.
In order to perform this conversion, the DJI Mavic 3 drone must pass through our workshop so that our experts can install the online FTS and PRS.
Equipped with our PRS and FTS kit (PRS-FTS-MOC Kronos AD Mavic 3), DJI Mavic 3E becomes Kronos AD Mavic 3E, and DJI Mavic 3T becomes Kronos AD Mavic 3T.
To achieve compliance with Class C5, we started from scratch and checked all the requirements for Class C5 for the drone + PRS+ FTS package (as opposed to the kit, where you only need to check the requirements for the kit itself).
To maintain warranty DJI, simply disassemble the FTS + PRS assembly before sending it for service DJI.
The validity of the parachute is 1 year. After this time, review. The cost of the exchange is €50.
