Fly DJI Tello with gamepad

Fly DJI Tello with gamepad

With the proliferation of smartphones, touch controls are becoming more common in everything from gaming to flying drones. But for many of us who grew up on console video games, the touchscreen controls are no match for the physical feedback of a gamepad (a.k.a. controllers or joypads).

To be fair to DJI, controlling DJI Tello with the virtual joysticks is surprisingly intuitive. For example, the mobile device will vibrate when the stick is released, providing much-needed physical feedback for inputs, and you can even adjust the suspension travel by tilting the phone up and down.
For many players, this is not a limitation. DJI has created a dedicated controller for Tello, with sticks and buttons; some players will be most comfortable flying with something that more closely resembles the controllers they have come to know and love over many years of game'ing experience. That's why in the latest DJI GO 4 software and updates, DJI has added support for third-party game controllers.

Remote control for Tello- GameSir T1D

GameSir T1D DJI Tello Kontroler

GameSir's compact, portable and foldable gamepads are perfect for gamers and Tello users who are always on the go. Gamevices are available in several different sizes to fit your specific device and are extremely easy to set up. Simply unfold it, plug your phone or tablet in sideways using the lightning or USB connector, and you're ready to play or fly.
Flying Tello with GameSir is certainly like upgrading flying with a mobile device. The A, B, X and Y buttons are customizable, the shoulder buttons control shutter and recording, and you can adjust the tilt of the gimbal with the D-pad. In addition, if you're low on battery, simply plug Gamevice's USB port into a power source and continue flying! Even if all of Tello's batteries run out, GameSir is compatible with more than 1,000 mobile games, so you can put the drone down and get straight to playing.
