DJI Mavic 4 Pro Premiere - new drone DJI

Premiere DJI Mavic 4 Pro it's a moment that many drone pilots and operators have been eagerly awaiting. Even at first glance, it is clear that it has been strongly thought out, not only as a successor, but as a top-quality equipment with greater applicability. After Mavicu 3 Pro, which still remains a benchmark for many, it was not easy to jump over the bar. And yet... it seems to have worked out.

In this article you will learn all about the new Mavic 4 Pro. What changes are a real step forward? What about camera, flight, security and field service? Is it worth replacing the hardware if we already have a Mavic 3 Pro? Concrete analysis and opinion from the perspective of specialists who not only look at the numbers, but know what it is like to work with such equipment in practice.

Construction of the Mavic 4 Pro drone

The new Mavic 4 Pro has retained a compact, foldable design that allows the device to be easily carried and quickly prepared for flight. DJI has bet on a new generation of aerodynamics, making the drone more energy efficient, stable in flight and fast. Instead of the classic, recognizable "frog" design known from the Mavic or Mini series, we get a more compact, modern body that looks like it was designed for special tasks.

Most eye-catching is the integrated infinity gimbal with 360° rotation capability. Here we have an elegantly built unit that gives the impression of being armored and precisely shielded. Mavic 4 Pro looks more like a compact spacecraft than a classic drone. It is a form that combines useful functions with modern design.

The kit also includes a camera RC 2 or RC Pro 2 version Creator Combo, which features a comfortable design, a large, bright Mini-LED screen (2000 nits). The screen of the RC Pro 2, is not merged with the controller, which gives you the possibility to rotate it and control the flight vertically.

One of the biggest advantages of the Mavic 4 Pro is its three-camera system, the main attraction of which is a hasselblad camera with 100 MP resolution and 4/3 CMOS sensor. The drone captures video at up to 6K/60FPS HDR with 16-degree dynamic range, a technology Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) provides natural colors without the need for correction in post-production.

In addition to the main sensor, the M4P has two telephoto lenses - one 48 MP with a 1/1.3" sensor and 70 mm focal length, the other 50 MP with a 1/1.5" sensor designed for long-distance close-ups. Each lens supports the technology Dual Native ISO Fusion, which provides great results even in low light. The Mavic 4 Pro can also create wide panoramas and RAW images combining up to 5 exposures, giving great flexibility in post-production.

Mavic 4 Pro's range and flight time

Zasięg i czas lotu Mavica 4 Pro

With a 95 Wh battery and optimized drive system, the Mavic 4 Pro can fly for up to 51 minutes and over a distance of up to 41 km, which opens up space for really ambitious projects. This is a significant jump over its predecessors, giving you more time to take complex shots. The transmission range is as long as 15 km thanks to o4+ system, which enables the transmission of 10-bit HDR without interference and with minimal delay.

The system operates stably even in the crowded ether, making it ideal for urban operations or in the presence of other drones. Real-time video streaming gives you full control over the shot.

Mavic 4 Pro support and built-in memory

Operation of the Mavica 4 Pro has been significantly simplified. New RC Pro 2 camera and DJI Fly app enable quick takeoff and smooth drone control. QuickTransfer high-speed data transfer function (up to 80 MB/s over Wi-Fi 6) allows you to quickly transfer footage to your phone even without taking the drone out of your bag.

Built-in memory 64GB (512GB for Creator Combo) it's an added security feature that means you don't have to worry about missing an SD card. The drone automatically updates its starting point, even without a GPS signal, increasing safety in non-standard locations.
