UNITREE H2 Edu is a full-size humanoid robot designed for education, research, demonstrations, and ambitious hobby robotics projects. Standing at approximately 182 cm tall, it moves naturally in human-oriented environments and delivers a highly realistic presence thanks to its balanced proportions, bionic head design, and smooth full-body motion. With 31 degrees of freedom and a binocular camera positioned where the eyes would be, this advanced platform can perceive its surroundings from a human-like perspective and perform complex movements with precision and fluidity.

The UNITREE H2 Edu is built for precise whole-body control. Each leg offers 6 degrees of freedom, each arm provides 7, the torso has 3, and the head has 2. This configuration allows the robot to maintain balance, move smoothly, and perform advanced sequences in a highly natural way. High leg-joint torque of up to 360 N·m ensures stability and dynamic performance, even during more demanding maneuvers. As a result, H2 Edu can jump, walk, run, and even showcase movements inspired by martial arts or dance.

The robot’s arm movement is supported by industrial cross roller bearings that combine impressive durability with high precision. What’s more, the H2 Edu version can be equipped with optional gripper hands available in multiple configurations, making it suitable for object handling and tasks that require accurate motion control. This makes the platform especially attractive for manipulation learning, grasping research, and projects where the robot needs to physically interact with its environment.

UNITREE H2 Edu uses a binocular camera mounted in the eye position, giving it a wide field of view and a more natural way to observe the world around it. This helps the robot “see” from a perspective similar to a human. The experience is enhanced by a voice interaction system based on a microphone array and a high-power speaker, enabling intuitive and convenient communication with the user.

The H2 Edu can support advanced computing modules, including configurations up to Jetson AGX Thor with performance reaching 2070 TOPS. That means it is ready for demanding control algorithms, perception tasks, and data processing workloads. In addition, the motion control system is continuously improved by the manufacturer and supported through OTA updates, allowing the robot’s capabilities to expand over time without changing its physical design. It is a future-ready platform for developers, researchers, and robotics enthusiasts who want room for experimentation.

Created for education, robotics research, and modern tech presentations, the UNITREE H2 Edu is an exciting platform for practical work and creative experimentation. Its life-size humanoid form makes it a standout choice for classroom activities, public demonstrations, and technology showcases. At the same time, it offers a robust foundation for studying full-body motion, control systems, perception, and human-robot interaction. For academic labs, research teams, and advanced hobby users, it provides a ready-to-use platform for testing algorithms and new ideas without building a humanoid robot from scratch.
