The UNITREE B2 is a high-performance quadruped robot built for demanding real-world missions in rough terrain, industrial sites, and advanced field operations. Fast, agile, and impressively powerful, this robotic platform reaches speeds of over 6 m/s while maintaining excellent balance, traction, and control. With a payload capacity of up to 120 kg in static mode and over 40 kg while walking, the B2 is ready for transport tasks, inspections, exploration, and rescue-style applications.
For users looking for a cutting-edge robotic platform with serious mobility, long runtime, and advanced sensing, the UNITREE B2 delivers a standout combination of speed, endurance, and terrain adaptability.
The UNITREE B2 ranks among the fastest quadruped robots in its class, reaching speeds of up to 6 m/s. This allows it to move quickly between work zones, react efficiently to changing conditions, and cover large areas in less time. Despite its dynamic movement, the robot remains stable during fast maneuvers, making it a strong choice for terrain navigation, inspections, and mobile robotics projects where both performance and control matter.

Its smooth and highly dynamic movement is powered by efficient M107 joint modules that generate around 360 N·m of torque. This strong power reserve translates into improved balance, more precise motion control, and reliable operation under heavier loads. As a result, the B2 stays stable on challenging ground and handles demanding maneuvers with confidence.

The robot is designed to operate in highly variable environments. It can move across wet floors, stones, rubble, and steep slopes with ease. The B2 also handles inclines of over 45° and climbs stairs with step heights of 20 to 25 cm. This impressive terrain adaptability makes it a great option wherever traditional wheeled mobile robots begin to struggle.

One of the key strengths of the UNITREE B2 is its ability to overcome obstacles up to 40 cm high. It can move steadily across platforms, timber piles, and infrastructure elements that would stop many conventional mobile systems. The robot can also perform jumps of up to 1.6 m, clear gaps from 0.5 to 1.2 m wide, and drop from heights of up to 1 m without damage. These capabilities significantly expand its usefulness in complex terrain and demanding field scenarios.

The UNITREE B2 combines strong payload performance with long endurance. In static mode, it can safely support up to 120 kg. While walking, it can carry loads of over 40 kg. With a 20 kg payload, the robot can operate for more than 4 hours and cover distances of up to 15 km. Without additional load, it can work for over 5 hours and travel as far as 20 km.

The robot uses an advanced perception system that may include a 32-beam automotive-grade LiDAR sensor, depth cameras, and high-resolution optical cameras, depending on configuration. This sensor setup supports accurate environment recognition, stable navigation, mapping, and inspection tasks, even in low-visibility or structurally complex surroundings.

A high-capacity 45 Ah battery with 58 V output provides an operating time of around 4 to 6 hours, helping the robot complete longer missions with fewer interruptions. Optional autonomous charging systems are also available for more advanced deployment scenarios. The plug-in battery design enables quick battery replacement, reducing downtime and making the B2 easier to prepare for the next task.

With an IP67 protection rating, the UNITREE B2 is resistant to dust and water, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. It operates in temperatures from -20°C to 55°C, so changing weather and challenging outdoor conditions are not a problem. This makes the robot well suited for both indoor industrial use and outdoor deployment throughout the year.

The UNITREE B2 is an excellent solution for infrastructure inspections, rescue support, patrol missions, logistics, and advanced robotics applications. Its blend of speed, carrying capacity, intelligent perception, and long runtime makes it a versatile platform for users who need dependable mobility in places where efficiency, durability, and adaptability are essential.
