OmniTerrain: Ready for Water, Snow, and Cliffs

The HOVERAir X1 PRO uses onboard sensors and proprietary sensor fusion technology for reliable positioning and motion planning across a wide variety of surfaces and environments. From forest trails to mountain roads, it’s ready to follow wherever the adventure leads.

It can fly at altitudes of up to 18,000 ft (5,500 m) and handle winds up to 24 mph (39 km/h), rated at Level 5 wind resistance.

For flights over water, make sure OmniTerrain is enabled and maintain a minimum height of 1.5 meters above the surface for safe operation.

Ski Mode

Capture your winter adventures in a whole new way. Ski Mode uses advanced tracking technology to predict movement on the slopes, helping deliver smooth, stable footage in cold-weather conditions. It’s a great companion for skiers and snowboarders who want epic shots with minimal effort.

Night Tracking

With support from advanced OmniTerrain technology, the X1 PRO can deliver smooth, reliable tracking even in low-light conditions. Perfect for evening bike rides, night runs, and after-dark adventures that deserve to be captured clearly.

Rear Active Collision Detection

The X1 PRO is equipped with rear ToF (Time of Flight) sensors for added safety while flying and tracking. It currently supports pre-collision braking at speeds of up to 1.5 m/s.

HEM™ Propeller Guards

The propeller guards are made from specially engineered HEM (Highly-Elastic Material), offering an excellent balance of flexibility, durability, and structural strength. With a density of 0.96 g/cm³, the material is lighter than carbon fiber, which typically measures 1.8 g/cm³.

Low-Noise Propellers

Custom-designed propellers help maximize aerodynamic efficiency while reducing noise, making flights more comfortable and less intrusive in outdoor environments.

Factory-Tested Reliability

Built to handle real-world use, HOVERAir devices go through extensive durability testing for dust, heat, cold, salt, humidity, drops, and more. They are tested in temperatures from -40°C to 70°C, withstand up to 3,000 drop tests, and feature a power button tested 100,000 times. The structure is also pressure-tested to 100 N for extra peace of mind.
