Freewell 58 mm Base Ring with Cap for Real Locking VND

The Freewell 58 mm base ring is an essential part of the Real Locking VND/CPL system, designed for fast, secure filter mounting on your lens. Made from precision-machined aluminum, it delivers a solid fit and full compatibility with other components in the system — from VND filters to caps and accessories. The 58 mm version is designed for lenses with a 58 mm thread and also makes it easy to adapt the system for use with smaller lens diameters.

NFC Cap — Protection and Instant Access to Information

The set includes a dual-lock protective cap with a built-in NFC module. Simply tap it with your smartphone to quickly access the user manual, warranty details, and technical support materials. The cap also helps protect your lens or mounted filter from dust, scratches, and accidental damage during transport.

Expandable System for Greater Flexibility

The base ring is the foundation of the Freewell Real Locking filter setup, making it easy to expand your kit as needed. Available in multiple sizes from 49 mm to 82 mm, it allows you to match the system to different lenses and use one filter kit across multiple cameras while keeping your workflow smooth and convenient.
