Cleans close to obstacles without getting stuck
You don’t need to prepare your home before starting the robot. Inspired by DJI drone technologies, the ROMO P uses a sophisticated sensor suite including a fisheye vision system and solid-state wide-angle LiDAR transmitters to accurately recognize objects in its path. Machine learning-based algorithms help it detect even small items like thin cables or toys, so instead of avoiding large sections of the room, it cleans right alongside obstacles for more complete coverage. It also avoids getting blocked, letting you leave it working on its own with confidence.
Smart mapping and efficient route planning
The DJI ROMO P understands your home layout and moves confidently even in dimly lit areas, under low furniture, and across dark surfaces. Wide-angle sensing and reduced blind spots help it navigate around unusually placed furniture and irregularly shaped objects. It automatically plans efficient cleaning routes, reaches difficult spots near walls and around chair or table legs, and safely avoids obstacles such as socks or pet messes. After cleaning, it returns to the base station using the shortest and safest route.
Strong suction for dust, crumbs, and pet hair
Equipped with a motor featuring a 9-blade metal fan, the ROMO P delivers up to 25,000 Pa suction power and 20 l/s airflow. That means it can effectively remove dust, crumbs, litter, hair, and pet fur from everyday living spaces. The robot can also identify the type of debris and react accordingly — for example, slowing the side brushes to avoid scattering dirt and then boosting power for more effective pickup. Thanks to its sound-dampening design, it can clean quietly while you relax.
Great choice for pet owners
With two motors driving the brush system, the DJI ROMO P quickly directs debris into the suction channel and into the dustbin, helping reduce the risk of clogging. The rubber brush is designed to minimize hair tangling, making maintenance faster and easier. An additional brush with mixed bristles and rubber elements performs especially well on carpets and heavily soiled surfaces. This is a robot vacuum built to handle the messes that standard cleaning tools often struggle with.
Reaches where others can’t
Thanks to a pair of extendable cleaning arms that activate automatically during operation, the ROMO P can effectively clean along edges, in corners, under furniture, and in narrow spaces. This design helps maximize floor coverage, even in rooms filled with obstacles.
Mopping support for everyday floor care
The 164 ml water tank keeps the mop pads continuously moistened during operation. In tougher areas, the robot can increase water output, and with additional tanks it can also apply deodorizing liquid or regular detergent. You can decide where and how cleaning solutions are used — for example, in the kitchen for greasy stains or throughout the home for a fresher finish. Importantly, before it starts mopping, the DJI ROMO P first sweeps the floor to avoid spreading dirt around.
Automation that makes a real difference
The base station analyzes how dirty the mop pads are and, if necessary, extends the cleaning cycle. The robot can also perform extra mopping passes in areas that require more attention. When it detects carpet or switches to vacuum mode, it automatically lifts the mopping module to prevent wetting textile surfaces. In mop mode, it works the other way around by lifting the main brush to help avoid re-soiling freshly cleaned floors.
Advanced base station for low-maintenance cleaning
The included base station features a four-stream water system that thoroughly rinses dirt from the mop pads. Debris is directed into a large 16 mm suction inlet that can handle water, hair, and residue with ease. Pressure up to 12 N enables more thorough pad cleaning, while a three-stage noise reduction system helps filter up to 80% of operating noise. The ROMO P also supports UV dust bag disinfection to help keep the system cleaner and more hygienic over time.
Adapts to different rooms and floor types
The DJI ROMO P can detect floor types, carpets, pets, and thresholds, then adjust the way it cleans. It boosts suction on carpets, dispenses cleaning solution in the kitchen, and after cleaning the bathroom can automatically return to the base to rinse the pads. In pet areas, it slows down to avoid spreading debris while increasing suction for more effective fur pickup. It can also recognize waste and safely steer around it.
DJI Home app control
Using the DJI Home app, you can select cleaning modes, create schedules, monitor cleaning progress, and receive alerts such as low water notifications. A video call feature is also available, allowing you to check what’s happening at home, talk to family members, or calm your pet remotely. Privacy is taken seriously — the camera requires two-step authorization on first use, video transmission is encrypted, and live view can be disabled at any time.
Ready when you need it
Fast 55 W charging allows the DJI ROMO P to fully recharge in around 2.5 hours. The robot automatically tops up its battery each time it returns to the base station, for example while the mop pads are being cleaned. In Quiet Mode, it can run for up to 3 hours, making it a strong choice for cleaning larger spaces without interruption.
