Lightweight Propeller Protection for the Pavo Femto
The BETAFPV Pavo Femto Whoop Frame Duct is a replacement component designed for the compact Pavo Femto FPV drone platform. It forms part of the protective Whoop frame structure, surrounding the propellers while supporting efficient airflow during flight.
Available in a transparent gray finish, the duct is manufactured from durable PA12 material, combining impact resistance with the low weight required for compact FPV builds.
Weighing just 8.64 g, the duct is designed for the Pavo Femto frame with a 75 mm wheelbase. It provides a practical replacement for a damaged propeller guard without requiring the entire frame assembly to be replaced.
Optimized Aerodynamics – Approximately 4% More Thrust
The Pavo Femto Whoop duct incorporates aerodynamic design principles inspired by rocket engine nozzles. Its carefully refined height and wall thickness help improve airflow around the propellers.
According to the manufacturer's specifications, the optimized duct profile provides an approximately 4% increase in thrust compared with the previous frame design.
This aerodynamic approach supports more efficient propulsion while maintaining the compact dimensions essential for agile FPV flight and precise maneuvering.
Improved Mounting System
The Pavo Femto frame features an improved connection between the Whoop duct and the carbon fiber frame plate. Additional supports and positioning elements help ensure proper alignment during assembly.
This design makes frame assembly more straightforward while supporting a secure connection between the protective duct and the main structural components.
If the duct becomes damaged, the individual component can be replaced while retaining the other functional parts of the Pavo Femto frame.
Part of the DJI O4-Compatible Pavo Femto Platform
The Whoop duct is part of the BETAFPV Pavo Femto frame system, developed for FPV builds using the DJI O4 Air Unit. The complete frame combines the protective duct with a carbon fiber plate and a dedicated video transmission module mount.
In the complete frame assembly, the DJI O4 mounting bracket features a reinforced protective structure designed to help shield the transmission module's electronics from mechanical damage.
The product offered here is the individual replacement Whoop duct only. The DJI O4 mounting bracket, carbon fiber plate and other components of the complete frame are not included.
