Cooling Fan Performance

Temperature testing showed that at a maximum RF power of 500 mW and after 30 minutes of operation, the RF chip temperature stayed below 50°C, while the outer case temperature remained around 30°C. This confirms stable daily performance without major temperature concerns.

For the black version running at up to 1 W, tests with a heatsink showed temperatures could remain below 65°C. Test results also showed that the RGB LED temperature may rise by about 10°C in both the 500 mW and 1 W RF module setups. That is why the cooling fan is strongly recommended for this configuration.

A common question is whether the fan should blow air inward or outward. Based on the test results, the main temperature difference appears on the JR case itself, while the internal electronic components remain essentially unaffected.
