BETAFPV configurator
BETAFPV Configurator is a tool designed to simplify updating, configuring and tuning your radio transmitter.
The features of the BETAFPV Configurator are listed below.
- Basic configuration of the radio controller, such as mode switch, RF modules on/off.
- Full ExpressLRS configuration functionality such as power, packet speed, etc.
- Channel mixer for fixed wing drones.
- Firmware update.
DO NOT turn on the transmitter and connect it to the computer first. In this situation, the USB port is invalid.
How to change the protocol
Note: Internal protocol switching is only available for Frsky radio transmitter. The ExpressLRS version can only switch to an external TX module.
To change protocols and TX module, follow these steps:
- Turn off the radio transmitter;
- Press and hold the BIND button while turning the radio back on;
- Then the flash color and LED times before buzzer alarms will change according to the tables above.
The Frsky version can support 4 different internal protocols, including Frsky D16 FCC, Frsky D16 LBT, Frsky D8 and Futaba S-FHSS. The protocol is indicated by the time the LED flashes after power-up, before the buzzer alarms.
