SuperX Nano receiver layout:

What Is Gemini?
ExpressLRS Gemini takes RC control to the next level by using true hardware diversity for simultaneous transmission on 2.4GHz and/or 900MHz. Unlike conventional systems, Gemini uses two independent transmit and receive chains, helping deliver better Link Quality (LQ) in difficult environments such as race tracks, dense urban areas, and interference-heavy flying spots.

Gemini supports three operating modes:
- 900M Gemini – optimized for penetration and long-range performance
- 2.4G Gemini – focused on ultra-low latency and fast response
- 900M + 2.4G GemX – combines the strengths of both bands in one seamless link
With GemX, you no longer have to choose between low latency and long range. You get the responsive feel of 2.4GHz together with the reach and penetration of 900MHz.

Note: GemX mode requires a dual-band transmitter.
SuperX Nano: True 900M + 2.4G Dual-Band Performance
Powered by dual Semtech LR1121 chips, the SuperX Nano is made for pilots who want the strongest possible control link without compromise. It supports three advanced modes: 900M Gemini for long-distance penetration, 2.4G Gemini for ultra-low latency, and 900M+2.4G GemX for parallel dual-band operation.
The included dual-band T antennas eliminate the need to swap frequencies, while advanced diversity processing helps maintain a clean, stable connection even in RF-challenging environments. For serious racers, long-range explorers, and aerial creators, this receiver is built to perform when it matters most.

TX Compatibility
The SuperX ELRS Gemini Xross Nano receiver is compatible with selected BETAFPV transmitter modules, including Micro, Micro V2, Nano V2, and SuperG, making it easy to integrate into advanced ExpressLRS setups.

BETAFPV ExpressLRS Receiver Lineup
Choosing the right receiver is key to getting the best FPV experience. BETAFPV’s ExpressLRS lineup includes solutions for every kind of pilot, from whoop racing to long-range cinematic flying. The SuperX stands out as a premium option for hobbyists who want low latency, interference resistance, and next-level dual-band reliability.

Setup and Configuration
The SuperX receiver currently supports CRSF, SBUS, and SUMD. Below is a typical setup example using the CRSF protocol with a Betaflight flight controller.
Wiring diagram:

JST SH connector pinout:

Note: Betaflight and ExpressLRS use different JST SH pin orders. Betaflight: 5V (V+), GND, RX, TX. ExpressLRS: GND, 5V (V+), TX, RX. If you are using terminal cables, always double-check the wire order before connecting.
Connect your flight controller to Betaflight Configurator and complete the basic setup:
- In the Ports tab, enable the correct UART as Serial RX (for example, UART1)
- In the Configuration tab, set Receiver Mode to Serial (via UART)
- Set Serial Receiver Provider to CRSF

Binding
The SuperX receiver uses official ExpressLRS V3.x firmware by default and does not come with a preset binding phrase. To ensure proper operation, make sure your transmitter module is also using ExpressLRS V3.x or newer without a predefined binding phrase.
- Power the receiver off and on three times with a 1-second interval, or press and hold the BOOT button for 2 seconds to enter binding mode.
- The RGB LED flashes orange twice, indicating the receiver is ready to bind.
- Use your radio or transmitter module to bind. Once the RGB LED stays solid, binding is complete.
Notes:
- After the first successful bind, the receiver saves the binding phrase and paired device automatically. Future power-ups will connect automatically without repeating the binding procedure.
- If you flashed firmware to the SuperX and configured a binding phrase manually, the method above will not work. Set the same binding phrase on the transmitter module so the receiver can bind automatically.
- For best reception, place the two antennas as far apart as practical.
