DJI Mavic Air- a drone with a 4K camera and weighing less than 600 grams
DJI is not resting. Today saw the launch of their latest product - a drone DJI Mavic Air, which will also be available in Mavic Air Fly More Combo! It is something between the models DJI Spark, a DJI Mavica and the power it has Phantom 4 PRO. There was a gap on the price shelf of DJI drones, which will now be filled. The price of the DJI Mavic Air is £3499 and the Combo kit (with 3 batteries as in the Mavic Pro, not 2 as in the Spark), £4399.
Quantity megapixels relative to the Mavic Pro or Spark has not changed- is still 12, the number of 32 mpx refers to panoramic photos. The great news is that we can record in the 4K 30 fps, and take pictures in the format RAW, what we couldn't do with Spark. Besides, the Mavic Air is equipped with a 3-axis gimbal, so your recordings will be less affected by shocks and smoother.
Fewer restrictions flying the Mavic Air in Poland!
The drone comes in three color versions: white, red i black. It is small as well as lightweight, and foldable, which is something we lacked in the Spark. The Polish drone market was certainly pleased to hear that the Mavic Air weighs 430g, which means fewer restrictions when it comes to flying. The range of this small quadrocopter is 2 km. We also no longer have to worry about the rods, as we can easily stow them and protect them from damage.
Mavic Air can be controlled by gestures, it also has many other attractive modes like activ tracking, drone, rocket etc. It is compatible with DJI Goggles. In Sport mode it can reach speed 68 km/h, in the usual ok. 30 km/h. Its flight time is 21 minutes, that is 6 minutes more than Spark is capable of achieving!
Drone is ideal for those fascinated by aerial photography. With great performance, they will be able to really achieve a lot; it will also be an ideal choice for beginners. Air thanks GPS/GLONASS it is very stable, and anti-collision sensors will provide additional safety.
