Meet the UNITREE H2 — a full-size humanoid robot designed for research, education, demos, and ambitious hobbyist robotics projects. Standing at approximately 182 cm tall, it moves naturally in spaces built for people. Its human-like proportions, bionic facial design, and smooth full-body motion make it an impressive platform for testing, learning, and showcasing advanced robotics in action.
With 31 degrees of freedom and a binocular vision system positioned where the eyes would be, the UNITREE H2 offers realistic movement, responsive environmental awareness, and a human-like observation perspective. Whether you want to explore locomotion, perception, interaction, or real-world robotics demonstrations, this platform gives you plenty of room to experiment and grow.

The UNITREE H2 is built for precise whole-body control. Each leg features 6 degrees of freedom, each arm has 7 degrees of freedom, while the torso offers 3 and the head 2. This configuration allows the robot to move fluidly, maintain balance, and perform complex actions in a natural-looking way.
With leg joint torque reaching up to 360 N·m, the H2 delivers excellent stability and dynamic performance even during more demanding maneuvers. As a result, it can jump, walk, run, and present motion sequences inspired by martial arts or dance.

The UNITREE H2 uses a binocular camera placed in the eye area, providing a wide field of view and a natural perspective of the surrounding environment. This helps the robot perceive the world in a way that feels closer to human observation, making it a strong platform for vision-based experiments and interactive robotics applications.
It is also equipped with a voice interaction system based on a microphone array and a high-power speaker, enabling simple and intuitive communication with the user.

The robot’s motion control system is continuously developed by the manufacturer and supported through OTA updates. This means its capabilities can expand over time without requiring changes to the hardware itself. For users, that translates into a more future-ready platform that can keep evolving alongside new software improvements.

The UNITREE H2 was created for education, research, and practical demonstrations of modern robotics. Its full-size humanoid form makes it a standout choice for technology showcases, classroom activities, robotics labs, and demonstration projects.
At the same time, it serves as an advanced platform for exploring whole-body motion, control systems, perception, and human-robot interaction. In academic and research environments, it allows teams to test algorithms and new concepts on a ready-made high-end humanoid platform without having to build one from scratch.
