Kimpok ALVT2.5W Analog Video Transmitter – High-Power FPV VTX for 4.9–5.8GHz Systems

Kimpok ALVT2.5W is a powerful analog FPV video transmitter designed for hobby drone builds, RC models, and custom video transmission setups that need a stable signal and flexible configuration. Operating across a wide 4.9–5.8GHz frequency range, this VTX offers 64 channels, adjustable output power up to 2500mW, support for NTSC/PAL video systems, and convenient control via IRC Tramp.

If you are building an advanced FPV setup and want more freedom in tuning your video link, the ALVT2.5W is a strong choice. It combines high output power, broad frequency coverage, manual button control, LED status indicators, and the essential accessories needed for installation.

Key Features of the Kimpok ALVT2.5W

  • Analog FPV VTX for 4.9–5.8GHz video transmission
  • 64 channels across 8 frequency bands
  • Adjustable output power: PIT / 25mW / 400mW / 800mW / 1500mW / 2500mW
  • IRC Tramp support for VTX control from a compatible flight controller
  • NTSC/PAL compatibility for analog video systems
  • Wide input voltage: 7–36V
  • 5V output for selected additional components
  • MMCX antenna connector
  • 6Pin SH1.0 port for neat and practical wiring

Up to 2500mW Output Power with 5 Adjustable Levels

The Kimpok ALVT2.5W gives you the flexibility to match transmission power to your flying environment and setup. Lower power modes are useful for bench testing and short-range configuration, while higher levels are better suited for more demanding FPV applications where a stronger analog video signal is needed.

  • PIT Mode – service mode for safe setup and configuration
  • 25mW – ideal for short-range use and testing
  • 400mW – a practical setting for standard FPV builds
  • 800mW – stronger transmission for more challenging conditions
  • 1500mW – high output power for demanding use cases
  • 2500mW – maximum transmitter power for the strongest video link

The selected power level is indicated by the red R1 LED. One blink means 25mW, two blinks 400mW, three blinks 800mW, four blinks 1500mW, and five blinks 2500mW.

64 Channels Across a Wide 4.9–5.8GHz Range

This analog video transmitter supports 64 channels divided into 8 frequency groups. Coverage extends from lower 4.9GHz frequencies up to the popular 5.8GHz FPV bands, making it easier to match your VTX to your receiver, local RF conditions, and the rest of your FPV system.

  • 64 working channels for flexible setup options
  • 8 frequency groups: FR1, FR2, FR3, FR4, FR5, FR6, FR7, and FR8
  • 4.9–5.8GHz operating range covering both lower and standard FPV bands
  • Manual setup for 4.9GHz channels directly from the onboard button
  • Compatible with NTSC and PAL analog video formats

IRC Tramp Control and One-Button Manual Setup

The ALVT2.5W supports the VTX IRC Tramp protocol, allowing configuration from a compatible flight controller. This is especially useful in FPV drones where direct access to the transmitter can be limited after installation. Please note that IRC control covers channels 1–40CH, while the lower 4.9GHz frequency groups must be configured manually using the onboard button.

  • DATA – VTX control input for IRC Tramp
  • Manual channel selection – single press changes the channel
  • Manual band selection – hold for 2 seconds to enter frequency group selection
  • Power adjustment by button – hold for 6 seconds to change output power
  • Settings lock/unlock – hold for 15 seconds to unlock manual configuration
  • PIT mode – double-click to enable or disable PIT mode

LED indicators make setup easier without the need for an extra screen. The red R1 LED shows power level, the blue FR LED indicates the frequency group, and the green C1, C2, and C3 LEDs display the selected channel.

7–36V Input, 5V Output, and Clean Wiring Integration

The Kimpok ALVT2.5W works with a wide 7–36V input voltage, making it easier to integrate into different power configurations. The transmitter also includes a 5V output, video signal input, and a DATA wire for control. The 6Pin SH1.0 connector helps keep wiring organized and installation cleaner inside FPV frames and RC projects.

  • 7–36V IN – main power input for the transmitter
  • 5V-OUT – 5V output for compatible accessories
  • VIDEO – video signal input from a camera or controller
  • DATA – VTX control input using IRC Tramp
  • GND – ground connections for proper wiring
  • MMCX – antenna connector for the antenna lead
