FC AIO BetaFPV F4 1S 5A FRsky 2.4G v2.0

BetaFPV F4 1S 5A AIO Flight Controller FRSky 2.4G v2.0
The BetaFPV F4 1S 5A AIO Brushless Flight Controller is back with meaningful upgrades for lightweight FPV whoop builds. This compact all-in-one board combines the flight controller, ESC and integrated receiver in one ultra-light platform, making it a great choice for pilots who want a clean setup, lower weight and reliable performance. Version 2.0 brings an upgraded BMI270 gyro, BB51 ESC hardware running Bluejay ESC firmware, and 8MB of onboard Blackbox memory for easier tuning and troubleshooting.
This FRSky 2.4G version features a built-in SPI CC2500 receiver and supports popular protocols including FrSky D8, FrSky D16 FCC, FrSky D16 LBT, and Futaba S-FHSS. It is a solid option for 1S brushless micro drones, especially for pilots building or upgrading a fast, responsive indoor or backyard FPV quad.

Two board versions are available. The Light Version weighs only 2.96g and comes without pre-soldered motor plugs, allowing direct motor wire soldering for a lighter race-focused setup. The Classic Version includes soldered motor connectors for faster and more convenient installation.

Wiring Diagrams
Below is the wiring diagram for the SPI FRSky RX version. The diagram is the same for both the Classic and Light versions.

Light vs Classic Version
| Light Version | Classic Version | |
| Weight | 2.96g | 3.64g |
| Board Thickness | 0.8mm | 0.8mm |
| Motor Connectors | No | Pre-soldered |

Why Pilots Choose This Board
- Compact and lightweight AIO solution for clean micro drone builds
- High-quality BMI270 gyro improves flight feel and control precision
- Bluejay ESC firmware enables modern features like bidirectional D-shot and RPM filtering
- 8MB Blackbox memory helps with tuning, logging and troubleshooting
- Light Version allows direct motor soldering for reduced resistance and maximum weight savings
- Classic Version offers easier plug-and-play motor installation
Bluejay ESC Firmware
The F4 1S 5A flight controller uses BB51 ESC hardware and supports Bluejay ESC firmware, based on BLHeli_S 16.7. Bluejay adds support for bidirectional D-shot and RPM filtering in Betaflight. It also offers fixed PWM frequencies of 24kHz, 48kHz and 96kHz, plus customizable startup melodies. Bluejay is the default ESC firmware for this FC.

Important: Only the SPI ELRS 2.4G version supports motor direction setup through Betaflight Configurator. The SPI FRSky version does not support this feature. BLHeli Configurator and Bluejay Configurator are not valid for BB51 ESC hardware on either version.

External RX / HD Digital or Analog VTX Connection
The SPI FRSky RX version supports connection of an external receiver, HD digital VTX, or analog VTX. It also reserves an SBUS port and a UART port, which can be used for SBUS protocol receivers or other external receiver options. The diagram below applies to both the Classic and Light versions.
