FC AIO BetaFPV 1S 12A v1.2 SPI FRsky

BetaFPV FC AIO 1S 12A v1.2 SPI Frsky Flight Controller
The BetaFPV F4 1S 12A AIO Brushless Flight Controller is the stock flight controller used in the Cetus X and a proven choice for lightweight 85mm whoops like the Meteor85, as well as 3-inch toothpick builds such as the HX115 SE and HX115 LR. This updated version features the BMI270 gyro and BB51 ESC hardware, replacing the older ICM20689 gyro and BB21 ESC platform for improved compatibility and modern performance.

Key Features
- Ideal for ultra-light 3-inch toothpick drones and 85mm whoop builds.
- Integrated 1S 12A ESC delivers significantly more headroom than typical 5A 1S boards.
- Built-in SPI Frsky receiver for a clean, compact setup.
- Onboard current sensor for accurate power monitoring in Betaflight.
- Two programmable RGB LEDs for easy customization and visibility.
- Accessible solder pads for external receiver connections, buzzer, and additional wiring.
- Large motor wire solder pads make assembly easier and cleaner.
- Whoop-style 26 x 26mm mounting pattern for wide frame compatibility.
Why Choose This AIO Board?
If you're building a compact FPV quad and want a reliable all-in-one solution, this board hits the sweet spot between low weight, solid power delivery, and easy integration. While many 1S flight controllers come with 5A ESCs, this version includes a much more capable 12A ESC, making it a far better match for demanding 85mm whoops and 3-inch toothpick setups using larger motors and props.

1S 12A ESC Specifications
- Integrated ESC: 12A continuous current, 25A peak
- Input Voltage: 1S-2S
- ESC Firmware: C_X_30_48_V0.18.1.hex for Bluejay BB51 hardware
- Supported Signals: D-shot150, D-shot300, D-shot600, Oneshot125, Multishot, PWM
Bluejay firmware now supports BB51 hardware, including both ELRS and Frsky versions of this board. If you want to configure the ESC settings, use BLHeliSuite16714902A_Beta or ESC-Configurator.
- Bluejay ESC firmware: select C_X_30.HEX
- Supported configuration tools: BLHeliSuite16714902A_Beta and ESC-Configurator
Note: Motor direction can be configured through Betaflight Configurator only on the SPI ELRS 2.4G version. The SPI Frsky version does not support this. BLHeli Configurator and Bluejay Configurator are inactive for BB51 ESC hardware.
Frsky SPI Receiver
The integrated SPI Frsky receiver uses the CC2500 chip and supports multiple popular radio protocols, making it a practical option for pilots who want flexibility without adding an external receiver. The factory default protocol is set to Frsky D16 FCC, but you can change it in Betaflight Configurator as needed.
- FRSKY_D – Frsky D8
- FRSKY_X – Frsky D16 FCC (ACCST 1.X)
- FRSKY_X_LBT – Frsky D16 LBT (ACCST 1.X)
- SFHSS – Futaba S-FHSS

Betaflight Firmware
The F4 1S 12A FC ships with betaflight_4.2.11_BETAFPVF411RX on the SPI Frsky version. This custom firmware build supports the BMI270 gyro used on this board.
Important: For the SPI Frsky version, do not flash other firmware versions unless you are absolutely sure they support the BMI270 gyro and this specific target.
Bluejay ESC Firmware Support
This board uses BB51 ESC hardware and supports Bluejay ESC firmware based on BLHeli_S 16.7. With Bluejay, pilots can take advantage of features such as bidirectional D-shot, RPM filtering in Betaflight, selectable PWM frequencies of 24kHz, 48kHz, and 96kHz, plus custom startup melodies. On suitable builds, this can help improve efficiency and overall flight feel.

External RX / HD Digital or Analog VTX Connection
The board also supports external HD digital VTX or analog VTX installation. Keep in mind that the board reserves SBUS and UART resources, which may also be used for SBUS-based receivers or other external receiver options depending on your setup.
