Unlock more advanced mapping and reconstruction capabilities with the DJI Terra Standard to Flagship Upgrade (Online). This electronic code is designed for users who want to move beyond the Standard version and access more powerful tools for 3D modeling, LiDAR processing, energy-sector workflows, and ultra-realistic scene reconstruction. If you already use DJI Terra and want to take your projects to the next level, this upgrade is a fast and convenient way to do it.

DJI Terra is an advanced 3D reconstruction and mapping software suite that combines photogrammetry, LiDAR data processing, and DJI hardware integration in one efficient workflow. The Flagship version expands these capabilities, making it a great choice for users who need more detail, more flexibility, and better performance in demanding environments.
One of the biggest advantages of the Flagship version is support for 3D Gaussian Splatting. This technology enables DJI Terra to generate impressively realistic spatial models from photos, making it easier to recreate buildings, landmarks, vegetation, and reflective surfaces with a high level of visual fidelity. Compared to classic oblique photogrammetry, it handles transparent elements, reflections, and fine details much more effectively.

DJI Terra is built for efficient performance, even with large datasets. It can process around 500 photos per hour, while single-block modeling can take only about 30 to 40 minutes. For projects with more than 10,000 images, processing can be significantly faster than previous Terra Mesh-based workflows, helping you complete large-scale tasks more smoothly.

The Flagship edition is well suited for advanced modeling of cityscapes, industrial sites, infrastructure, and large operational areas. The software can process approximately 300 to 400 photos per 1 GB of available RAM, and a single reconstruction task can include up to 30,000 images. That makes it a strong option for digitizing neighborhoods, industrial parks, and utility networks.

Despite its advanced feature set, DJI Terra remains accessible. Smooth operation is possible with a graphics card offering 4 GB of VRAM and 32 GB RAM, so you can handle advanced reconstruction projects without immediately investing in an expensive workstation.

Reconstruction results can be exported in popular formats such as PLY and B3DM (3D Tiles). This makes it easier to move your work into external GIS, CAD, urban planning, film production, or game development platforms. Standardized export helps streamline collaboration and reuse of project data.

DJI Terra can create high-quality 3D models, point clouds, orthomosaics, and DSM surface models from photo data. You can also adjust 2D map resolution and 3D mesh density to match your workflow. When paired with DJI drones equipped with RTK, the software can produce maps that meet 1:500 accuracy standards without requiring ground control points in many scenarios.

DJI Terra is fast enough to support on-site result generation for smaller jobs. For larger reconstructions, it can process up to 30,000 photos in 3 days on a single workstation, or in as little as 21 hours using cluster technology. For 2D reconstruction, 5,000 photos can be processed in under 2 hours, or about 80 minutes in cluster mode.

DJI Terra supports deep integration of LiDAR data and visible-light imagery. A single flight with the Zenmuse L2 can deliver precise point clouds, 2D maps, and 3D mesh models at the same time. This makes reconstructions more complete and detailed, especially for complex objects like bridges and utility infrastructure. Support for RTK and PPK also enables centimeter-level accuracy without ground control points in suitable workflows.

The software can process approximately 1 GB of point cloud data per 1 GB of RAM, helping you manage large and demanding LiDAR projects more effectively. For example, a computer with 32 GB RAM can process up to 120 GB of data, covering an area of around 10 km². For city-scale work, systems with 128 GB RAM can be used.

DJI Terra supports data from the DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral and Phantom 4 Multispectral, enabling the creation of NDVI and NDRE vegetation index maps. It can also generate reflectance maps and spraying routes for DJI Agras drones, including variable-rate applications. This makes it a practical tool for crop monitoring and precision farming.

DJI Terra works closely with a wide range of DJI Enterprise hardware, including DJI Matrice 4E, DJI Matrice 400, Zenmuse P1, Zenmuse L2, and the D-RTK 3 station. Together, they create a complete hardware-and-software solution for photogrammetry, mapping, and LiDAR-based workflows.

With one click, you can transfer your model from DJI Terra directly to DJI Modify, DJI’s mesh and point cloud editing software. There you can use tools such as smoothing, denoising, sampling, terrain classification, and export to GIS or CAD environments. It’s a convenient way to go from data capture to modeling, editing, and sharing in one connected workflow.
