Learn More About Diversity and Gemini Modes

- Diversity mode: two antennas are switched regularly to read RSSI values and select the antenna best suited for receiving data.
- True Diversity mode: both antennas receive data on the same frequency, and the antenna that first receives valid data is used.
- Gemini mode: both antennas receive telemetry simultaneously with a 40MHz frequency difference. Data is also transmitted at the same time on different frequencies, allowing identical packets to be received across different frequencies and antennas for maximum stability in challenging RF conditions.
Among these, Gemini is the most advanced ExpressLRS feature, offering the highest signal stability and improved resistance to interference. That makes it a great fit for a wide range of demanding FPV use cases.
The SuperG Nano Transmitter supports Gemini mode. Testing shows that at a 1000Hz refresh rate, LQ in True Diversity mode can fluctuate between 90 and 100, while switching to Gemini stabilizes LQ at 99–100. In short: this module is built for pilots who want the most reliable link possible.
Connection with Diversity Receivers
Gemini mode is built on the hardware foundation of true diversity receivers and requires a high-frequency module with dual RF output. When paired with products from the BETAFPV Super series, the benefits of Gemini mode can be fully utilized.

Using this system with a true diversity receiver creates an exceptionally stable and powerful radio link, making it ideal for long-range flights, multiplayer sessions, and FPV racing, where low latency and dependable signal performance matter most.

Dual 1W Output Power
The SuperG Nano Transmitter uses two active antennas on dual frequencies, with 1W transmission power per path. The result is stronger signal coverage, greater transmission distance, and improved control range for serious FPV flying.

Upgraded Cooling System
The housing is made from CNC-machined aluminum with an anodized finish for durability. Thanks to optimized internal airflow, a high-speed fan, and copper heatsink fins, the module dissipates heat effectively during high-power use. Fly with more confidence and enjoy reliable performance throughout your session.

Compatible with Most Popular Radios
The SuperG Nano Transmitter can be configured through a LUA script. Radios running EdgeTX or OpenTX with CRSF support work smoothly with it. It is designed for widely used Nano TX interfaces, including radios such as Radiomaster TX16, Boxer, Zorro, Jumper T16, T20, T Pro, FrSky QX7, X9, and X Lite.

Note: The LiteRadio 3 Pro does not support dual transmitter power above 100mW due to power supply limitations.
Express Yourself with Bold Color Options
The SuperG Nano Transmitter combines advanced performance with a personalized look. It is available in three eye-catching colors: red, gray, and black. For pilots who care about both style and performance, it’s a solid match.

Part of the ELRS Ecosystem
The ExpressLRS product line expands further with the SuperG Nano Transmitter. To achieve the best connection quality, pair this Gemini TX with receivers from the BETAFPV Super series. It’s a strong option for pilots looking for long range, low latency, and high refresh rates in one radio control system.

Basic Setup
The SuperG Nano Transmitter is designed to receive signals via the CRSF (Crossfire Serial Data) protocol. Your radio’s RF module interface must support CRSF output. Using EdgeTX as an example, set the radio to output CRSF and enable LUA script control.
In EdgeTX, go to MODEL SEL, then open the SETUP menu. Turn Internal RF to OFF, enable External RF, and set the output mode to CRSF, as shown below.

LUA scripts are lightweight and convenient, making device setup and adjustment quick and easy directly from your radio.
- Download the elrsV3.lua script from the BETAFPV Support Center or ExpressLRS Configurator.
- Copy the official elrsV3.lua script to the Scripts/Tools folder on your radio’s SD card.
- In EdgeTX, hold the SYS or MENU button to open the SD-HC CARD menu.
- Select and run the elrsV3.lua script.
- Once successfully launched, the interface will appear as shown below.

Customizable Buttons
The SuperG Nano Transmitter features two user-configurable buttons. Here’s how to customize them:
- Enable the transmitter Wi-Fi, or power it on and wait 60 seconds to enter Wi-Fi mode via LUA configuration.
- The RGB indicator will slowly flash green, showing that Wi-Fi has been enabled automatically (SSID: ExpressLRS TX, Password: expresslrs).
- Connect with a smartphone or computer and open the browser page at
http://10.0.0.1. - On the settings page, assign functions to the buttons, choose the action type, number of presses, or hold duration, then click save.
Default Button Functions
| Button | Action | Type | Count / Duration |
| Button 1 (Left) |
Bind Mode | Short Press | 3 |
| Increase Power | Long Press | 0.5 second | |
| Button 2 (Right) |
Enter VTX Channel Menu | Short Press | 2 |
| Send VTX Settings | Long Press | 0.5 second |
Note: This transmitter does not support RGB-lit button hardware.
Binding and External Power
The SuperG Nano Transmitter ships with default firmware based on the official ExpressLRS V3.3.0 protocol and without a Binding Phrase. The receiver should be running V3.0.0 or newer. For the best performance, the transmitter antennas should be positioned as far apart as possible.
- Put the receiver into bind mode and wait for the connection process.
- In the LUA script, click Bind or use the assigned shortcut button to enter bind mode.
- If the indicator stays solid, binding has completed successfully.

Note: If the TX firmware is reflashed and a Binding Phrase is configured, the above bind method will no longer work. In that case, set the receiver to the same Binding Phrase as the transmitter and they will connect automatically.
At transmission power levels above 500mW, the SuperG Nano can consume a considerable amount of power, which may reduce your radio battery runtime. For longer sessions, using an external power source is recommended.
- Power consumption depends not only on TX power, but also on the telemetry ratio. At 500mW and above, increasing the telemetry ratio can help reduce power draw and extend usage time.
- For example, in Gemini mode, power consumption at a 1:128 telemetry ratio is 1000mA, while at 1:2 it is only about half of that.

Note: When the radio battery or external power source drops below 7V (2S) or 10.5V (3S), use Gemini mode at 500mW and 1W with caution. Otherwise, the transmitter may reboot due to insufficient power, which could lead to loss of control.
FAQ
Cannot enter the LUA script while establishing a connection
- The ELRS LUA script version is outdated and should be updated to elrsV3.lua.
- The radio baud rate is set below 400K and needs to be increased.
- If there is no baud rate option available, update the radio firmware and make sure EdgeTX V2.7.0 or newer is installed.
Your radio cannot use the F1000 packet rate or shows the message “Baud rate is too low”

- Cause: F1000 requires a baud rate higher than 400K, while many radios default to 400K.
- Solution: First update the baud rate setting to above 400K in the model or system settings, then restart the radio to apply the change. After that, switch the packet rate again.
When F1000 is enabled, the packet rate between the radio and the SuperG Nano transmitter is lower than 1000

- Cause: EdgeTX version issue.
- Solution: Update EdgeTX to 2.8.0 or newer. The LiteRadio 3 Pro ships with EdgeTX 2.8.0 by default and does not have this issue.
Default firmware note: The SuperG Nano transmitter comes with ELRS V3.3.0, and users should update the receiver to V3.0.0 or newer for proper binding compatibility.
