The BetaFPV Air65 II Frame is the next evolution of an already proven ultra-light whoop platform. For nearly two years, the original Air65 frame set the benchmark for low weight and agile handling. Now, co-developed with BetaFPV’s global pilot community, the 2.65 g Air65 II pushes the concept even further with a redesigned structure focused on more thrust, better tuning response, and improved crash durability.

Every part of the frame was reworked—from the arm braces and duct geometry to impact-prone areas—to create a lighter, sharper, and more refined flying experience. By reducing the arm braces from 6 to 4 and optimizing the duct and connecting structure, the Air65 II delivers up to 5% more thrust while reducing frame resonance and helping achieve an impressively clean PID response. For pilots, that means snappier throttle feel, smoother freestyle, and more confidence on every pack.

By strategically reducing the number of arm braces from 6 to 4 and refining the aerodynamics of the ducts, the Air65 II achieves 5% more thrust compared to the first-generation version. The result is faster throttle pickup, stronger sustained power, and a more lively feel in the air.

After extensive structural refinement, the final connecting-arm design helps reduce frame vibration and resonance. Combined with proper feedforward tuning, this supports a near-ideal PID step response with latency below 12 ms, giving you more precise handling, cleaner lines, and silky-smooth freestyle control.
