BetaFPV Matrix 1S Brushless Flight Controller (5-in-1) G4 V2 (Solder Required)
The BetaFPV Matrix 1S 5-in-1 II Brushless Flight Controller is a next-generation AIO board built for pilots who want more power, more durability, and more freedom in their 1S whoop builds. Based on a proven all-in-one design, it combines the flight controller, 12A ESC, OSD, ELRS 2.4GHz receiver, and 5.8GHz 400mW VTX into one compact unit. If you're building a lightweight indoor ripper or a more aggressive freestyle micro quad, this board delivers the performance and reliability to match.
With a continuous 12A ESC, a shock-resistant 3-point mounting design, and the flexibility of a solder-required DIY setup, this is a tough and capable core for demanding 1S brushless drones.

Key Features
- 5-in-1 all-in-one design: FC, ESC, OSD, ELRS 2.4GHz RX, and 5.8GHz 48CH 400mW VTX in one board
- Upgraded 12A ESC: 12A continuous and 18A peak output for stronger 1S brushless performance
- Built for durability: 3-point shock-resistant mounting and a 1.0mm PCB help improve crash resistance
- Solder-required version: ideal for custom builds, cleaner layouts, and lower overall weight
- STM32G473 processor: fast response and precise control for smooth flying and freestyle
- Integrated ELRS 2.4GHz receiver: reliable low-latency control with CRSF protocol support
- Built-in 5.8GHz VTX: up to 400mW output with 48 channels for flexible FPV setup
- Blackbox logging: 16MB onboard memory for tuning and troubleshooting
Important Notes
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Damage caused by user error, crashes, installation or removal, modifications, voltage spikes, electrical burnouts, or water exposure is not covered.
- VTX power output: higher power increases energy consumption and temperature, which may reduce flight time. For indoor flying, 25–100mW is recommended.
- VTX antenna warning: always connect the antenna before powering on. Alternatively, set output power to 0 to help avoid damage.

Durability & Crash Protection
The 3-point mounting structure is designed to reduce impact-related damage, while the 1.0mm PCB adds extra strength for everyday flying and harder crashes. It’s a great match for pilots who want a board that can take abuse and keep going.

Solder-Required Version
This solder-required version gives builders more flexibility when choosing components and routing connections. It’s a solid option for hobbyists who prefer a more customized setup and want to keep weight to a minimum.

Integrated ELRS 2.4GHz Receiver
The built-in ELRS 2.4GHz receiver supports the CRSF protocol and can be updated to ELRS V3 without changing the FC firmware, making it a practical choice for pilots already flying on the ExpressLRS ecosystem.
- Plug and unplug 3 times
- Double flashing LED = bind mode
- Solid LED = connected
Bluejay ESC Firmware Support
This board supports Bluejay ESC firmware with DShot300/600, RPM filtering, and 24/48/96KHz frequencies, giving you plenty of tuning options for smoother and more efficient performance.
Do not flash too frequently to reduce the risk of damaging the board.
Ports & Connectivity
By default, UART2 is assigned to VTX and UART3 to RX. The board can also be expanded with additional peripherals such as GPS, CRSF devices, and more, making it easier to tailor your setup to your build style.
