How to Protect the Lenses on the Osmo 360 II DJI ?

Both fisheye lenses have undergone multi-layer ion plating and are coated with an ultra-hard optical coating that enhances their resistance to scratches and wear. However, they are still precision optical components, so it’s a good idea to follow a few guidelines:

  1. When storing the camera, use a silicone lens cap or a protective case. Before putting it on, check to make sure there is no sand or other debris inside.
  2. Before recording, remove the cover or take the camera out of its case and wipe fingerprints and dirt off the lenses.

How does the Osmo 360 II DJI make the selfie stick invisible?? What to Keep in Mind When Using This Feature?

To achieve the best results when stitching a panoramic image, it is recommended to maintain a distance of at least 0.75 m between the Osmo 360 II DJI and the subject being filmed. At shorter distances, the images from the left and right lenses may differ significantly, which can result in unnatural stitching or image irregularities.

How to Export Photos and Videos?

There are three ways to do this:

  1. Connect your camera to the " DJI " app and download content from the microSD card or internal storage to your smartphone.
  2. Use a card reader to transfer files from a microSD card to your computer or phone.

How to Use Spotlight Follow Mode on the Osmo 360 II DJI ?

Spotlight Follow* mode automatically detects and tracks a subject in 360°, capturing both the shot of the subject and the view from the subject's perspective. This feature can be used, among other things, while skiing, biking, and in follow-cam shots.

The first time you use it, you can use the Register Subject. When a registered object enters the frame, the camera will automatically detect it and begin tracking it.

To change the object you're tracking, double-tap the white frame on the screen. A green box indicates that a new object has been locked. If the camera loses track of the object, the frame will turn red. After more than five seconds out of range, a message will appear indicating that the object has been lost. In that case, you'll need to restart the tracking manually.

360° videos recorded in Spotlight Follow mode can be exported as flat videos in DJI or DJI Studio without manually cropping the tracked subject.

Before installation, thoroughly clean the surface of the lenses and the inside of the lens caps* with a lens cleaning cloth.

To install the cover, hold it in place with your fingers from the outside. First, align the lower latch with the bottom of the lens and press it down. Next, gently press the top latch into the slot at the top of the camera until you hear a click. Install the cover on the other side in the same way.

After installing both covers, wipe them down on the outside to remove fingerprints, grease marks, and other dirt.

To remove the cover, gently lift the top latch with your thumb while pressing the tab at the top of the latch, and then slide the bottom latch down along the slot. Do not use excessive force.

How does the Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case eliminate image distortion underwater??

DJI The Osmo 360 II uses fisheye lenses, in which the refraction of light underwater can cause image distortion. The Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case* uses a specially designed optical system that corrects these distortions.

How to Prevent the Camera from Overheating?

  1. Adjust the recording settings. Select a lower resolution and frame rate, such as 6K/24 fps or 6K/30 fps, to reduce power consumption and limit overheating.
