What video formats does DJI Osmo Nano support?
DJI The Osmo Nano supports the video format - MP4 (HEVC).
Does DJI Osmo Nano support distortion correction?
Yes. In the upper right corner on the recording specifications page, touch the icon RS|Wide, to switch the field of view to Standard (Dewarp).
Can I save the original timelapse photos?
Yes. Mode photos Timelapse can be downloaded and viewed on your computer. To do this, follow these steps: in Timelapse touch the settings icon on the right side of the screen and toggle the option Format on "Video+JPEG" or "Video+RAW".
What is RockSteady 3.0?
DJI Osmo Nano uses RockSteady 3.0 technology to stabilize footage. This is an electronic image stabilization (EIS) technology that works by increasing the shutter speed, analyzing the CMOS sensor image and compensating by cropping the edges of the frame. In this way, multiple frames are superimposed and combined into one sharp, clear and well-exposed image.
What the D-Log M color mode in DJI Osmo Nano is all about?
This mode is designed to capture a wide dynamic range from the sensor and ensure even color distribution, so the dark parts of the image are greatly enhanced. Not a true LUT, but a lower contrast video with a flat color profile, perfect for post-production processing.
How to export photos and videos from DJI Osmo Nano?
Four options are available:
1. Connect to DJI Mimo app and download content from microSD card and built-in memory to phone.
2. You can insert the microSD card into the multi-function docking station and follow the on-screen instructions to pair it with the camera. Materials will be exported to a microSD card. Then use the card reader to copy the files to your computer or phone.
3. Connect the multifunctional docking station to the camera and then to the computer using the data cable. Then select the memory location on the camera screen and export the contents to your computer.
4. Connect the multifunctional docking station to the camera. Then swipe down to open the settings menu and select "USB Mode". Connect DJI Osmo Nano to a smartphone with a USB-C port using a USB-C cable, then export content from a microSD card and built-in memory to your phone.
*DJI Osmo Nano must have the latest firmware installed.
Where video footage is saved on DJI Osmo Nano?
Footage is stored in the camera's built-in memory. DJI Osmo Nano does not support direct recording to a microSD card in the multi-function docking station.
What HorizonBalancing is and what recording specification modes it supports?
HorizonBalancing corrects horizontal tilt within ±30° and enables stable 4K/60FPS HD video recording.
HorizonBalancing supports the following recording specifications:
- 1080p@24/25/30/48/50/60FPS,
- 2.7K (16:9)@24/25/30/48/50/60FPS
- 4K (16:9)@24/25/30/48/50/60FPS
How to use Auto Recording?
When the Auto Recording the camera can automatically start recording in the off state through set actions or intervals and durations of clips. Does DJI Osmo Nano enable slow motion recording?
Yes. DJI Osmo Nano supports slow motion recording up to 1080p/240FPS (8x). In 4K mode, the camera supports 4x slow motion (4K/120FPS).
Does DJI Osmo Nano use fixed-focus lenses?
Yes. DJI The Osmo Nano uses a fixed-focus lens, and the image is clear when the subject is more than 350mm from the lens.
Does DJI Osmo Nano allow focus adjustment?
Not. DJI Osmo Nano has a fixed focal length lens and does not support focus adjustment.
What is the capacity of the built-in memory DJI Osmo Nano? Can recordings be saved directly to a microSD card?
Depending on the variant DJI Osmo Nano has 64 GB (48 GB available) or 128 GB (107.6 GB available) of built-in memory.
Direct recording to microSD card is not supported. However, you can quickly export footage from the camera to a microSD card using the docking station to free up storage space.
Does DJI Osmo Nano allow you to set a spot metering mode?
DJI Osmo Nano uses global smart metering and does not support spot metering.
Can I shoot HDR videos with DJI Osmo Nano?
Videos recorded with DJI Osmo Nano have a high dynamic range, so there is no need for a separate HDR mode.
What app to use to control DJI Osmo Nano with a smartphone?
To control DJI Osmo Nano with your smartphone, use the app DJI Mimo. It allows you to customize settings and recording modes, synchronize photos and videos, as well as edit and share footage. How to activate DJI Osmo Nano?
Before first use, activate DJI Osmo Nano using the DJI Mimo app. To do this, follow these steps:
1. When the camera is mounted on the multifunction docking station, hold down the camera or station button to turn it on.
2. Install the DJI Mimo app by scanning the QR code displayed on the camera screen, or download it from the smartphone store.
3. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone.
4. Launch DJI Mimo, tap the camera icon and follow the instructions to activate the device.
How to update software DJI Osmo Nano?
When you connect DJI Osmo Nano to the DJI Mimo app, you will automatically receive a software update notification. Follow the instructions to carry out the entire process.
How to take a selfie with DJI Osmo Nano?
Magnetic quick-mount system between the camera and the docking station allows for flexible front or rear mounting. When the lens and screen are on the same side, you can easily check the shot while taking a selfie.
Does DJI Osmo Nano support voice control?
Yes. DJI Osmo Nano supports commands in English and Mandarin Chinese. It is recommended to use voice control within one meter of the camera and in a relatively quiet environment.

How to use the InvisiStick feature?
After recording a video with the DJI Osmo Nano camera, you can connect it to the DJI Mimo app to remove the selfie stick*.
*To get the desired effect, use the Osmo 1.5m Extension Rod when recording and try not to cover body parts with it. InvisiStick supports removal of selfie stick in the cloud at resolutions up to 1920×1080 and locally up to 1280×720.
How to share the recorded video?
You can save the video to your phone and share it or upload it to the app DJI Mimo and share the generated link.
How to manually set camera parameters, such as shutter speed and ISO?
1. From the camera preview screen DJI Osmo Nano, tap the image/sound settings icon on the right, select mode PRO in the upper right corner, and then set the exposure mode to M (Manual), to adjust the shutter speed and ISO.
2. In the DJI Mimo app, tap the "..." in the camera view and enable pRO mode. Then return to the camera view, tap the image/sound settings icon and adjust the shutter and ISO parameters.
Does DJI Osmo Nano have a sleep mode?
Yes. When the DJI Osmo Nano camera is on, hold down the quick switch button to enter sleep mode. To wake up the device, press the same button once. What's more, pressing the shutter/record button activates the SnapShot.
What the SnapShot feature of the DJI Osmo Nano is used for?
When the DJI Osmo Nano camera is off, press and hold the shutter/record button to start filming immediately. The recording mode will be according to the settings of the function SnapShot, which allows you to quickly capture special moments. When recording is finished, if no action is performed within 3 seconds, the camera will automatically turn off.
Can I use an external microphone with DJI Osmo Nano?
Only microphones are supported DJI. Direct connection to first generation DJI Mic is not supported. Microphones DJI are available for sale separately.
Does DJI Osmo Nano support timecode generator?
Not. DJI Osmo Nano does not support timecode generator.
Does DJI Osmo Nano allow you to set the playback volume?
Yes. On the playback page, tap the speaker icon in the upper right corner to adjust the volume.
What is the operating time DJI Osmo Nano?
The DJI Osmo Nano camera alone runs for about 90 minutes. On the other hand, when connected to the docking station, the working time is extended to about 200 minutes.
*Tested at room temperature of 25°C, during 1080p/24FPS video recording (16:9), with RockSteady stabilization enabled, Wi-Fi turned off and screen off. Actual operating time may vary depending on device settings, usage and environmental conditions. Data was collected in a controlled environment and is indicative only. When using the DJI Osmo Nano in the EU and UK, the actual operating time may vary due to local temperature regulations for the device. Be guided by actual user experience.
How much longer the battery lasts in Endurance mode compared to normal mode?
When the mode is activated Endurance DJI Osmo Nano can record in 4K/60FPS (16:9) for more than 10 minutes longer than if it was turned off.
*Measured at room temperature of 25°C, with RockSteady stabilization enabled, Wi-Fi turned off and screen off.
Does DJI Osmo Nano support fast charging?
Yes. You can use a USB-C charger that supports the PD 3.0 standard with a PD output power of at least 30 watts.
Can you use DJI Osmo Nano while charging?
Yes, you can use the camera DJI Osmo Nano while recording.
How to check the battery charge level DJI Osmo Nano?
1. To check the battery charge level, you can connect the camera to the multifunctional docking station.
2. You can also check your battery charge level on the app DJI Mimo.
3. When the battery level drops below 20%, the yellow indicator lights up briefly when the camera is turned on, allowing you to check the state of charge even without the station.

When playing videos recorded with DJI Osmo Nano on some MacBooks, there may be flickering. How to solve this problem?
Playback of recorded material on computers may depend on hardware settings and performance. Flicker is usually caused by video player compatibility problems, not by the files themselves. If this problem occurs, try the following solutions:
- Mac: choose System Preferences > Displays > Refresh rate and set it to fixed instead of ProMotion.
- Other computers: low-performance graphics card may cause flickering when playing files. It is recommended to use a more powerful computer for previewing.
How to add GPS information to a video?
You can use the DJI Mimo app to add dashboard information and other sports data to your videos. This requires the Osmo Action GPS Bluetooth remote control (sold separately) or importing training data from other sources. For detailed instructions, see the official instructional videos.
Why the camera heats up during recording? Is this normal and how can it be reduced?
It's normal for the camera to heat up during prolonged recording or when filming at high resolution. If you want to minimize the heating of the device and the feeling of discomfort, you can use the following tips:
- Use the included protective cover to reduce the heat sensation in your hand.
- Use the camera in a well-ventilated environment to improve heat dissipation.
- Lower the video resolution or frame rate if high settings are not required.
- Enable the "Auto Screen Off" (automatic screen shutdown) or manually blank the screen to reduce power consumption and heating.
- As there are metal components on the bottom of the device, try to avoid prolonged contact with the mount or other metal surfaces to reduce the sensation of heat.
Can you replace the lens on the DJI Osmo Nano?
No, the lens on the DJI Osmo Nano is not interchangeable. If you have a damaged lens contact our service, we will be happy to help.
Is the DJI Osmo Nano camera waterproof?
The DJI Osmo Nano camera is waterproof to a depth of 10 meters without an additional housing. Combined with the multifunctional docking station, it provides splash resistance according to IPX4 standard.
*Tighten the glass lens cap before use. It is not recommended to use the camera itself for prolonged underwater recording or in high water pressure environments. Do not use the camera in hot springs or extreme underwater conditions or allow it to come into contact with corrosive or unknown liquids.
What to do before using DJI Osmo Nano camera underwater?
1. Check that the glass lens cover is intact and tighten it well.
2. DJI Osmo Nano is distinguished by its water resistance to a depth of 10 m without additional housing. Prolonged use of the camera alone underwater is not recommended.
3. Do not use the device in extreme water conditions or unknown liquids. Avoid using the camera in hot springs and corrosive liquids.
4. Let the camera dry before replacing the glass lens cover to avoid fogging caused by water entering the camera.
5. After use in underwater conditions, rinse the device with clean water to remove surface dirt. Before charging, make sure the contacts are dry and free of dirt.

How to clean the lens area DJI Osmo Nano?
1. Dirt on the lens can be removed with a lens cleaning cloth. If there is dust in the slits on the edge of the lens, use a blowing pear or a cotton swab.
2. To remove water marks, greasy stains or fingerprints, apply a few drops of lens cleaner to a suitable tissue and clean the lens in circular motions.
What to do if dust or sand gets inside DJI Osmo Nano?
