New design, easier controls
Consisting of tilt and roll axis motors, phone holder and handle, DJI Osmo Mobile 2 looks very similar to its predecessor. However, this product is not just a refreshed color; DJI has taken care of the new design and amenities, making the Osmo Mobile 2 the perfect smartphone stabilizer for all your requirements.
The manual control has been simplified to access many of the stabilizer's functions using just your thumb. The on button can also be used to switch between Follow and Lock modes (one press), as well as to center the gimbal (two presses). New battery level indicator allows you to check battery status at any time.
New control panel.
Zoom slider
A new zoom slider is adjacent to the control panel. Use your thumb to smoothly control the zoom instead of using your other hand and operate this function on the smartphone screen.

The smartphone holder can be rotated 90° and hold the device in portrait orientation. Taking shots in Portrait mode means you can enjoy the benefits of the stabilizer when taking selfie shots and doing live broadcasts.
Lighter and smaller
At just 485g, the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 stabilizer is the lightest DJI-branded smartphone stabilizer to date. This was made possible by using new materials to make the product.
Lightweight and portable to use the stabilizer all day long.
Built-in rechargeable battery with powerbank function
The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 features a built-in rechargeable battery that allows the device to operate for up to 15 hours, three times better than its predecessor.
Rechargeable battery with sizable capacity is not just for using the device. It is possible to connect a cable to the built-in USB port to charge a smartphone or tablet. That's right, the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 is also a power bank.

Standard mounting hole
The threaded mounting hole located at the bottom of the handle is an inconspicuous but very useful feature. Its standard size (like that of any camera) makes the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 stabilizer compatible with tripods, monopods, and other mounting tools, such as the new stand, which has a bolt for stiffness and stability.
New coaster.
Intelligent modes
The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 inherits many smart features from its predecessor, such as Slow Motion, extended exposure photos and automatic panoramas.
Record expeditions like a real filmmaker.
Hyperlapse
In addition to Timelapse and Motionlapse modes, the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 also features Hyperlapse. This mode allows you to record stable and smooth Timelapse footage while moving around.
ActiveTrack in Portrait mode
The ActiveTrack function, which allows you to keep the frame on the selected subject, is also available in the new Portrait mode. Your selfies and live broadcasts will now look more professional.
ActiveTrack mode allows you to keep the selected subject in the frame.
Dolly Zoom
With the zoom slider at the reach of the thumb, we are able to achieve an effect known from Hollywood, namely Dolly Zoom. Keep the subject in frame and zoom in on the slider while moving backward. You can also get the effect by doing things the other way around (zooming out of the frame using the slider and coming closer). The entire recording will be stable and the subject will remain in the frame, while the size of the background will change.

With all the great features that make the Osmo series a useful tool for filmmakers, the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 stabilizer with new features and design expands the photo-video capabilities of any smartphone.
