Yes. On the recording specifications page, tap the RS|Wide icon in the upper right corner to switch the FOV to Standard (Dewarp). DJI Osmo Action 6 also introduces Natural Wide, which maintains an ultra-wide field of view while correcting vertical distortion on buildings, trees and other objects.
Is it possible to save the original Timelapse photos?
Yes. Timelapse images can be downloaded and displayed on a computer.
What is RockSteady 3.0?
DJI Osmo Action 6 uses RockSteady 3.0 technology to stabilize video. This EIS technology involves increasing the shutter speed, analyzing the images captured by the CMOS sensor and compensating by cutting off their edges. In this way, multiple frames are superimposed and eventually combined into a single frame that is sharp, clear and accurately exposed.
What is HorizonSteady?
HorizonSteady uses the latest stabilization algorithm DJI, to correct shake for every horizontal rotation (360°) and lock onto an aligned horizon in every frame, regardless of how the camera is mounted or worn. This allows you to capture smooth and stable footage in almost any situation - even when you're cycling on bumpy roads or go-karting on a track.

What is D-Log M color mode in DJI Osmo Action 6?
D-Log M mode is designed to capture a wide dynamic range from the sensor and distribute colors evenly, making the light and dark parts of the video better rendered and clearer. It is not a LUT, but a lower contrast video with a flat color profile, which gives you more options in the post-production process.
How to export photos and videos from DJI Osmo Action 6?
Three export options are available:
1. Connect to DJI Mimo app and download footage from microSD card or camera's internal memory to phone.
2. Use the card reader to export content from a microSD card to a computer or phone.
3. Swipe down in camera view, tap Settings icon and select USB Mode. Then follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your computer or smartphone using a USB-C cable. Once you've done that, you can export the footage from a microSD card or the device's built-in memory.
Where are the recordings saved in DJI Osmo Action 6?
Recordings are saved either on a microSD card inserted in the camera or in the device's internal memory.
Does the DJI Osmo Action 6 camera use a fixed lens?
DJI Osmo Action 6 uses a fixed-focus lens with adjustable aperture. At f/4.0, the lens achieves focus from 0.2 m to infinity.
Can you set the measurement for DJI Osmo Action 6?
DJI Osmo Action 6 supports evaluative metering, but not spot metering.
Does DJI Osmo Action 6 enable HDR video recording?
Videos recorded with DJI Osmo Action 6 are distinguished by their high dynamic range, making HDR mode unnecessary.
Where the color temperature sensor is located DJI Osmo Action 6 and what it is used for?
The color temperature sensor on the Osmo Action 6 is located near the Action logo on the front of the camera. Do not cover it during use. With it, DJI Osmo Action 6 delivers exceptional color temperature performance even in scenarios involving complex lighting, such as diving. Sensor corrects color temperature when recording underwater and reduces its flicker caused by changing filming angle. It can also more accurately detect and reduce light flicker.
What recording and stabilization specifications does SuperNight mode support? When it should be used?
SuperNight mode allows recording in 4K@24/25/30/48/50/60FPS, 2.7K@24/25/30/48/50/60FPS and 1080p@24/25/30/48/50/60FPS. You can turn on RockSteady 3.0 or RockSteady 3.0+ and choose from Standard (Dewarp), Wide and Natural Wide FOV modes. It is recommended to use this function at night in urban areas.
How to use the Subject Tracking mode offered by DJI Osmo Action 6?
Subject Tracking mode makes the camera keep the subject in the center of the frame and continuously follow it, making it ideal for recording while skiing, snowboarding, biking or motorcycling, for example. This mode only allows you to track people - it won't work when filming animals and other targets.
When using Subject Tracking mode, a gray frame will appear in the middle of the camera preview. When a person is in the center of the camera view, it will be prioritized as a tracked object and a yellow frame will appear to indicate that the target has been selected. Press the shutter/record button to start filming, and the yellow frame will turn green, indicating that the subject has been locked and tracking has started. As the subject moves, the gray frame will move accordingly, helping the user maintain a consistent shot. If the tracked object disappears from the field of view, the green frame will turn red. If the subject disappears from the frame for more than 90 seconds, even if it reappears in the camera view, tracking will not resume automatically, and the gray frame will be reset to the center of the. To restart tracking, once again lock the subject and start recording.
*Subject Tracking mode is only available when recording in landscape orientation and allows recording in up to 2.7K/60FPS in both 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios. Subject Tracking is not supported when the macro lens is mounted.
What app to use to control DJI Osmo Action 6 with a smartphone?
Applications DJI Despite. With it, you can change settings, select recording modes, synchronize photos and videos, and edit and share your content.
How to activate DJI Osmo Action 6?
To activate DJI Osmo Action 6, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the toggle button to turn on DJI Osmo Action 6;
2.Download the DJI Mimo app by scanning the QR code displayed on the camera screen or by searching for it in the app store;
3. Turn on the DJI Mimo app, tap the Camera icon, turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone, and connect to DJI Osmo Action 6;
4. When you connect DJI Osmo Action 6 with the DJI Mimo app, you will receive a message to activate the device;
5. Go through the activation process by following the instructions displayed in the application.
How to update DJI Osmo Action 6 software?

Swipe up from the bottom on the screen to unlock it and switch to it. Using the camera's menu, users can also decide whether they want to display images simultaneously on both screens or only on one.

How to switch to vertical recording?

How to manually adjust the aperture?
You can manually adjust the aperture modes on the Osmo Action 6 in two ways:
1. Directly on camera
- Turn on the Osmo Action 6 and go to the preview screen.
- Tap the Image/Audio Settings icon on the right side of the page.
- Press the PRO button in the upper right corner to display advanced settings.
- Find the Variable Aperture option and select one of the following modes:
- Auto: aperture automatically adjusted according to recording conditions; maximum opening in low light conditions.
- Fixed (f/2.8): fixed aperture of f/2.8, as in classic sports cameras; minimum focus distance is 35 cm.
- Starburst (f/4.0): fixed f/4.0 aperture with a minimum focus distance of 20 cm, allowing a six-point starburst effect on point light sources.
2. Via DJI Mimo app
- Open DJI Mimo and go to the main recording screen.
- Tap the "..." icon (More) in the upper right corner, turn on Variable Aperture, and then select Auto, Fixed (f/2.8) or Starburst (f/4.0).

What the SnapShot feature offered by DJI Osmo Action 6 is for?
When the DJI Osmo Action 6 camera is off, press and hold the shutter/record button to start filming immediately. The recording mode will follow SnapShot settings, allowing you to quickly capture exciting moments. When recording is finished, if no action is performed within 3 seconds, the camera will automatically turn off.
Can external microphones be used in conjunction with DJI Osmo Action 6?
Yes. You can connect DJI Osmo Action 6 to a third-party microphone using the Osmo Action 3.5mm audio adapter.
Can you adjust the playback volume on DJI Osmo Action 6?
Yes. Tap the Volume icon in the upper right corner of the playback screen to turn the sound on or off. You can also press and hold it to adjust the volume.
How to check current altitude or dive depth on DJI Osmo Action 6?
Swipe down in the camera view to access the menu, tap the Settings icon, and then select Depth & Altitude. In the Diving menu, turn on Depth Display. When the camera is submerged to a depth of at least 1m, the screen will automatically show the diving depth and the diving time. In the Hiking & Parachuting menu, you can enable Altitude Display. When recording begins, the live preview will display the current altitude in real time.
How to use the 32x Super Slow Motion feature?
In standard video mode, record video in 1080p@100/120/240FPS or in 2.7K/4K (16:9)@100/120FPS. Then apply 4x frame interpolation to get up to 1080p/960FPS, thus creating slow motion video at 32x speed (from 1080p/240FPS to 1080p/960FPS).
*This feature does not require switching to Slow Motion mode. You can simply record the video in standard video mode. During playback, if the video lasts longer than 3 seconds, tap the Snail icon at any point to which you want to apply slow-motion processing from the camera, and save a super-slow-motion version of the original footage.
What is the running time DJI Osmo Action 6?
The Osmo Action 6 has a maximum operating time of 4 hours*, and reaches 167 minutes when recording in low-temperature environments down to -20°C.**

How to solve the flickering problem when playing back footage recorded with DJI Osmo Action 6 on different computers?
Playback of recorded material on a computer may depend on its settings and performance. If flickering occurs, try the following solutions:
Mac (Apple): go to System Preferences > Displays > Refresh Rate and set a fixed refresh rate instead of ProMotion.
Other computers: poor graphics card may cause flickering during file playback. It is recommended to use a computer with higher performance.
How to add GPS information to a video?
Osmo Action GPS Bluetooth Remote Controller allows you to save GPS information and add sports data to your videos in the DJI Mimo app.
Why DJI Osmo Action 6 heats up during use?
When using high performance modes (such as standard 4K/120FPS video mode, 2.7K/60FPS Subject Tracking mode, or SuperNight 4K/30FPS mode), the camera consumes more power, which may result in a noticeable increase in temperature. In addition, longer recording sessions or holding the camera in your hand for long periods of time can also cause it to heat up.
Can you replace the lens DJI Osmo Action 6?
No, the lens cannot be replaced. However, you can replace the glass lens hood with a version designed to fit the Osmo Action 6 macro lens or the Osmo Action 6 FOV Boost* lens.

Is the DJI Osmo Action 6 camera waterproof?
Yes. Camera DJI Osmo Action 6 can be used at depths of up to 20 m without an additional housing or at depths of up to 60 m with a waterproof housing.
Before use, close the battery compartment cover and the USB-C port cover and tighten the glass lens cap. It is recommended to use a waterproof case for long-term recording under water or in environments with high water pressure. The DJI Osmo Action 6 camera and the waterproof case designed for it are IP68 rated. Do not use the camera in hot springs or very deep underwater, or allow it to come into contact with unknown or corrosive liquids.
What to do before using DJI Osmo Action 6 camera underwater?
1. Check that the glass lens cover and screens are intact. Close the battery compartment cover and the USB-C port cover, then tighten the glass lens cover.
2. Camera DJI Osmo Action 6 can be used at depths of up to 20m. However, it is recommended to use a waterproof case when recording underwater for long periods of time or in high water pressure environments. With a waterproof case DJI Osmo Action 6 can be used at depths of up to 60m.
3. Do not use the camera in hot springs or very deep under water. It should also not be exposed to unknown or corrosive liquids.
4. Air dry the camera before replacing the glass lens cover to avoid condensation.
5. After using the camera underwater, rinse it with clean water and completely air-dry it before using it again.

How to clean the lens DJI Osmo Action 6?
1. Dirt on the lens can be removed with a lens cleaning cloth. For dirt in the fold on the edge of the lens, use a dust blower or cotton swab.
2. To clean water stains, oil smudges or fingerprints, apply a few drops of lens cleaner to the appropriate wipes and wipe off the dirt in a circular motion.
What to do if dust or sand gets inside DJI Osmo Action 6?
The DJI Osmo Action 6 camera is dustproof. However, if dust gets inside it that cannot be cleaned, contact the after-sales service DJI to repair the device.
Can the DJI Osmo Action 6 camera be powered by a powerbank when the battery is removed?
It is not recommended to use the camera with an external power source, such as a powerbank, without a battery installed. To maintain recording stability and optimal operation of the device, leave the battery in the camera when connecting it to the powerbank.
Can I use DJI Osmo Action 6 camera to dive to greater depths and record without a waterproof case?
Yes. When diving with the camera without a housing, at depths exceeding about 14 meters*, the shutter/record button is automatically disabled due to high water pressure. In this situation, you can use the Quick Switch (QS) button on the side of the camera to take pictures, start or stop recording, and change modes. After surfacing, when the pressure on the top button subsides, follow the messages on the screen to re-enable the shutter/record button and return to using it for shooting and recording.
*The shutter/record button is deactivated at approximately 0.14 MPa (equivalent to approx. 14 m deep). Actual shutdown depth may vary depending on water conditions, atmospheric pressure and condition of the device.
