AfterShokz Aeropex headphones - getting ready for use

Charging AfterShokz Aeropex

Top up your headphones with the included magnetic cable. The LED indicator will light up red when charging starts, and blue when the battery is charged.

Pairing AfterShokz headphones

Make sure the headphones are turned off. Enter pairing mode by holding down the volume+ button until Audrey (the voice prompt on the headphones) says 'Pairing' and the LED indicator starts blinking alternately red and blue.

Connect your mobile device with AfterShokz

Open the Bluetooth options in the menu of your device and select 'Aeropex By AfterShokz' Audrey's voice will say 'Connected' and the LED indicator will blink blue once.

2. Make sure the headphones are turned off
3. Enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the Volume+ button until Audrey says 'Pairing' and the LED indicator blinks red and blue.
4. Press and hold the Multifunction button, Volume+ button and Volume- button (all 3 buttons at the same time) for 3 - 5 seconds until you hear two beeps or the headphones vibrate.
5. Turn off your headphones. Aeropex headphones are now reset and can be paired again.

Pairing multiple devices with Aeropex headphones

Multi-device pairing allows you to pair two devices at once, so two people can use the Aeropex without having to pair the headphones each time.

1. Make sure the headphones are turned off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until the voice says 'Pairing' and the LED indicator blinks red and blue.
3. Press and hold the multifunction button and Volume+ for 3 seconds. The voice on the handset will say 'Multipoint Enabled'.
4. Open the Bluetooth settings of the first device and select Aeropex by AfterShokz. Audrey will say 'Connected'.
5. Turn off your headphones.
6. Re-enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the Volume+ button, the voice on the handset will say 'Pairing' and the LED indicator will blink red and blue.
7. Open the Bluetooth settings of the other device and select Aeropex by AfterShokz. The voice on the handset will say 'Connected'.
8. Turn off your headphones.
9. Turn on your headphones. Your headphones are now connected to two devices.
10. To turn off multipoint pairing: press and hold the Multifunction Button andVolume-button for 3 seconds. You will hear the message 'Multipoint disabled'.

Storage and maintenance of Aeropex headphones

1. Store the headphones in a cool and dry place, at an ambient temperature of 0-45 °C. Too low/high temperature or humidity can shorten battery life.
2. After long-term storage without use, recharge before use. The headphones are waterproof, but not waterproof - don't submerge them in water.
3. The headset can be used for daily cleaning, but must not be rinsed and soaked on the microphone hole, otherwise it may tide over the performance of the microphone.
4. It is recommended to clean the headphones with a clean, soft cloth.
5. Don't charge the headphones immediately after a workout, as sweat or moisture can cause a short circuit. To reduce the danger of damage, make sure the USB charging port is always dry.
