UNITREE G1-D U6 humanoid robot

UNITREE G1-D U6 Humanoid Robot
The UNITREE G1-D U6 is an advanced humanoid robotics platform designed for research, AI data collection for Sim2Real workflows, and commercial operations where stability, precision, and long runtime matter most. Unlike traditional walking robots, this model uses a wheeled differential-drive base, delivering excellent balance, smooth mobility, and agile maneuvering even in tighter spaces. Thanks to its precise lifting system, the robot can reach an operating height of up to approximately 2 meters, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of hobbyist, development, and advanced robotics projects.

Fast, agile, and highly stable
The robot is built on a premium 570 × 525 × 197 mm chassis with a two-wheel drive system that enables 360° turning in place and efficient movement through narrow work areas. With a top speed of approximately 1.5 m/s, the G1-D U6 can move quickly between workstations without sacrificing stability. Physical collision sensors and a dedicated low-obstacle detection sensor further improve safety in demanding environments.

Advanced kinematics with 21 degrees of freedom
The UNITREE G1-D U6 offers a total of 21 degrees of freedom, covering the arms, waist, lifting column, grippers, and mobile base. This configuration provides broad manipulation capabilities while maintaining excellent structural stability. Its dual 7-DoF arms allow for complex handling tasks, while the waist offers a wide range of motion in the Z axis (±155°) and Y axis (-2.5° to +135°), enabling natural torso rotation and leaning during operation.

Adjustable height for greater workspace flexibility
The robot features a precision lift system with a 450 mm stroke, 1 mm positioning accuracy, and a lifting speed of up to 60 mm/s. This allows the height to be adjusted between 1260 mm and 1680 mm. With a maximum working reach of around 2 meters, the G1-D U6 can effectively handle both lower-positioned objects and tasks located higher up. This precise height adjustment is especially valuable for repeatable workflows and accurate gripping tasks.

Dex1-1 Advanced grippers with force control
The G1-D U6 comes equipped with two advanced Dex1-1 grippers featuring force control, allowing safer handling of items with different weights and surface characteristics. Each arm supports a payload of up to 3 kg and offers a reach of up to approximately 0.45 m without the gripper, giving the robot comfortable access across a broad operating area.

Expanded perception system
The UNITREE G1-D U6 includes a multi-layer perception system that stands out in its class. In the head, there is a wide-angle binocular HD camera with a resolution of 3840 × 1200. The wrists are equipped with two HD cameras at 1920 × 1080 for precise close-range grip monitoring. The base includes a dedicated LiDAR sensor and two depth cameras for terrain mapping and safe navigation. The robot also features an audio system with a 4-microphone array and a 5 W speaker, enabling voice interaction.

Split power system for longer and more flexible operation
One of the key strengths of the G1-D U6 is its split power design for uninterrupted work. The upper body uses a 9000 mAh battery with a quick-release system, providing up to approximately 2 hours of operation and easy battery replacement. It can also be powered directly by cable for extended tasks without downtime. The base includes a built-in 30 Ah battery that delivers up to approximately 6 hours of runtime. The set includes a 54 V / 5 A body charger and a dedicated 51 V / 10 A charging station for the base, allowing independent power management for both systems.

Impressive computing power and AI-ready architecture
Data processing is handled by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin 16G module, delivering up to 100 TOPS of computing performance, supported by a high-performance 8-core CPU. This hardware setup is ready for AI algorithms, advanced robotics research, and demanding development work in laboratory or commercial environments. OTA updates and secondary development support make it easy to expand the robot’s capabilities over time.
