SmallRig 5462 wireless remote control for sports cameras and cell phones

SmallRig 5462 Wireless Remote Control for Action Cameras and Smartphones

Take control of your shots with the SmallRig 5462 wireless remote designed for action cameras and selected smartphones. It’s a handy accessory for hobby creators, travelers, vloggers, and outdoor enthusiasts who want more freedom when recording video, snapping photos, or capturing time-lapse content from a distance.

This versatile remote gives you convenient control over key camera functions, including power on/off, sleep mode activation, and start/stop recording (available functions may vary depending on the brand and device model).

You can also switch between shooting modes such as photo, video, and time-lapse. Please note that mode switching behavior may differ depending on the device. When used with smartphones, the M button does not support mode switching, so changing modes must be done directly on the phone.

The SmallRig 5462 is compatible with popular action camera brands including GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, and Insta360, making it a practical choice for creators who use different gear setups. It also supports selected smartphones from major brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, and vivo.

For safer everyday use, the included wrist strap helps prevent accidental drops while shooting on the move. If you want to build a more comfortable remote shooting setup, this remote pairs especially well with the SmallRig selfie stick 5403 or a magic arm with crab clamp kits 4766 / 3757. These accessories make it easier to mount your action camera or smartphone securely for better framing and more convenient remote operation.

If you prefer a more all-in-one solution, you may also want to consider the SmallRig 5464 selfie tripod for action cameras and smartphones, which combines support and remote-friendly functionality in one setup.
