RadioMaster ExpressLRS Flasher USB UART

When updating ELRS receivers, there are primarily two options: Wi-Fi and serial. While the Wi-Fi update is very user-friendly and requires no additional accessories, it can be prone to outages due to unstable networks.

To ensure a more reliable and professional update, RadioMaster ExpressLRS UART Flasher will be the solution. This dongle is designed specifically to update the serial port of an ELRS receiver, providing a reliable and professional solution for flashing or recovering receivers with bad flash memory.

Characteristics

• Equipped with multiple protection circuits including overcurrent protection and reverse protection
• Optional output voltage 3.3V and 5V
• Standard 2.54 mm pins
• RM-CRSF JST-GH interface output for versatile connectivity to compatible ER Series receivers

Compatible receivers

Using the 2.54mm pin output and spring pin adapter or test hook adapters:

• All RP SERIES ELRS RECEIVERS

Using regular 2.54mm pin output (servo plug):

• ER3C-i 2.4 GHz ELRS PWM receiver
• ER5C-i 2.4 GHz ELRS PWM receiver
• ER4 2.4 GHz ELRS PWM receiver
• ER5A 2.4 GHz PWM receiver
• ER5A V2 2.4 GHz PWM receiver
• ER5C 2.4 GHz PWM receiver
• ER5C V2 2.4 GHz PWM receiver
• ER6G and ER6GV ELRS PWM receiver

Note: The second channel is reused as the serial TX port, connected to the RX port of the serial port tool. The third channel serves as the RX and is connected to the TX port of the serial port tool.

Firmware update via RM-CRSF interface output:

• ER6 2.4 GHz ELRS PWM receiver
• ER8 2.4 GHz ELRS PWM receiver
• ER8G and ER8GV ELRS PWM receiver

Note: The above receivers can be connected to the CRSF port of the receiver via a 4-wire CRSF cable.

How to update firmware

1. Connect the serial port cable to the receiver
2. Press the BOOT button of the receiver and insert the serial port tool into the computer
3. Follow the instructions of the ELRS update tool to complete the update
