PolarPro Variable ND 6–9 Stop Peter McKinnon Mist Edition II Filter for 77mm Lenses

Take full control of light and mood with the PolarPro Variable ND 6–9 Stop Peter McKinnon Mist Edition II for 77mm lenses. Combining a powerful 6–9 stop variable ND filter with a built-in Black Mist diffusion effect, this filter is a great choice for hobbyist filmmakers, photographers, and content creators who want a more cinematic look straight out of camera.

It helps you fine-tune exposure in bright conditions while adding a subtle glow to highlights, gently softening contrast, and creating a polished, film-inspired atmosphere without sacrificing overall image clarity.

Key features and benefits:

• 6–9 stop variable ND adjustment – Smoothly reduce incoming light across a wide range, ideal for shooting outdoors, using slower shutter speeds, or maintaining cinematic motion blur in bright scenes.
• Built-in Black Mist diffusion – Adds a soft halation effect to highlights, smooths the overall image character, and gives portraits and video footage a more atmospheric, cinematic feel.
• Zero cross-polarization design – Helps prevent the unwanted “X-pattern” often seen in lower-quality variable ND filters, delivering more even and reliable light control across the frame.
• Precision-machined aluminum frame – Made from lightweight yet durable aerospace-grade aluminum for smooth rotation, dependable handling, and long-lasting performance.
• CinemaSeries optical glass – Premium multi-coated glass maintains excellent sharpness, balanced contrast, and natural-looking color reproduction.
• Easy-to-read stop markings – Clearly marked settings make it quick and simple to dial in the exact level of exposure reduction you need.
• Designed for 77mm lenses – Perfect fit for compatible lenses with a 77mm filter thread, making it an easy upgrade for creative photo and video work.

The PolarPro PMVND Black Mist 6–9 Stop Edition II is a versatile tool for creators who want to manage exposure and visual style with a single filter. Whether you are filming travel content, shooting portraits, or working on a creative video project, it helps you achieve a more professional and cinematic result with less effort.
