Kimpok Analog Video Receiver VRX Module (with DVR)

Kimpok Analog Video Receiver VRX Module with DVR – 3.3 GHz FPV Ground Station Receiver
Kimpok Analog Video Receiver VRX Module with DVR is a complete 3.3 GHz FPV receiving kit designed for hobbyists who need reliable analog video reception from compatible VTX transmitters. The set combines a compact VRX receiver module, a high-gain 15.8 dBi directional antenna, and a built-in DVR for recording the received video feed without adding a separate recorder.
It’s a practical choice for building a portable FPV ground station, testing 3.3 GHz transmitters, or setting up an analog long-range video system. With sensitivity down to -95 dBm, a durable aluminum housing, a simple rotary control knob, and a digital display for fast band and channel checks, this receiver is ready for real field use.
High-Sensitivity 3.3 GHz Analog FPV Receiver
The Kimpok VRX module operates in the 3.3 GHz band and supports two frequency ranges: Band A: 3330–3470 MHz and Band B: 3170–3310 MHz. Each band includes 8 channels, giving you a total of 16 selectable channels to match your compatible FPV transmitter and fine-tune your setup.
A digital PLL circuit helps maintain stable frequency performance and reduces the risk of drift, which is especially important for consistent analog video reception. Combined with sensitivity of up to -95 dBm, the receiver is well suited for hobby FPV applications where clean signal reception matters.
- 3.3 GHz analog FPV receiver – built for compatible analog video systems.
- 16 channels total – 8 channels in Band A and 8 channels in Band B.
- Sensitivity up to -95 dBm – improved reception of weaker signals.
- Digital PLL design – more stable operation with reduced frequency drift.
- CVBS video output – compatible with NTSC / PAL analog video devices.
15.8 dBi Directional Antenna for Stronger Signal Reception
The kit includes a 3.3 GHz directional antenna with 15.8 dBi gain, making it a great fit for FPV ground station use. Its focused beam pattern helps improve reception in the desired direction while reducing unwanted interference from the sides.
The antenna supports LHCP / RHCP polarization, works across 3150–3500 MHz, and uses an SMA connector. With dimensions of 174 x 174 x 16 mm, it is a solid and purpose-built component for a 3.3 GHz analog FPV receiving setup.
| Antenna type | Directional 3.3 GHz antenna |
|---|---|
| Polarization | LHCP / RHCP |
| Operating range | 3150–3500 MHz |
| Beamwidth | 29 degrees at 3 dB, H + V |
| Gain | 15.8 dBi |
| V.S.W.R | < 1.3 |
| Cable | RG178 adapter cable |
| Connector | SMA |
| Dimensions | 174 x 174 x 16 mm |

Built-In DVR for Recording Your FPV Video Feed
The with DVR version lets you record the received analog video directly, without needing a separate recording unit. That makes it especially handy for flight logging, signal testing, VTX setup verification, and reviewing footage after your session.
The receiver features a dedicated REC button and a DVR status LED. After powering on, the LED stays lit in standby mode. Press the REC button and the LED starts flashing to indicate that recording has begun. The DVR supports CVBS recording at 30 fps and saves footage to a TF card.
- Built-in DVR module – record the live video feed received by the VRX.
- REC button – start recording quickly and easily.
- Status LED – clear indication of standby and active recording modes.
- TF card slot – storage for recorded video files.
- CVBS 30 fps recording – practical recording for analog FPV systems.
Easy Channel Selection, Band Switching, and Setting Lock
The Kimpok VRX Module with DVR uses a rotary knob and digital display for quick and simple control. Turning the knob cycles through CH1 to CH8, while a short press switches between Band A and Band B.
Pressing and holding the knob activates the setting lock, shown by a decimal point on the display. This is a useful feature for outdoor use, helping prevent accidental frequency changes during operation.
| Band | CH1 | CH2 | CH3 | CH4 | CH5 | CH6 | CH7 | CH8 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Band A | 3330 MHz | 3350 MHz | 3370 MHz | 3390 MHz | 3410 MHz | 3430 MHz | 3450 MHz | 3470 MHz |
| Band B | 3170 MHz | 3190 MHz | 3210 MHz | 3230 MHz | 3250 MHz | 3270 MHz | 3290 MHz | 3310 MHz |
