The FlyFishRC Volador II VX5 is the second-generation 5-inch freestyle FPV frame, refined with feedback from pilots and testers to deliver an even cleaner build, better compatibility, and improved flight feel. Designed in a Squashed X configuration for maximum control, the VX5 is a great choice for freestyle pilots who want a strong, tidy, and highly optimized platform for both analog and HD setups.

Volador II keeps the simple, builder-friendly design that pilots appreciated in V1, while introducing a long list of upgrades in V2. The frame uses premium T700 carbon fiber and high-strength CNC aluminum parts, giving it excellent durability, a smooth finish, and evenly chamfered edges that help protect wires and battery straps during assembly and crashes.

One of the standout features of the Volador II series is its exceptionally neat layout. The tight frame structure and independently removable arms help reduce resonance, while the smartly designed TPU components make the whole build look more integrated and professional. If you care about a clean FPV setup, this frame was clearly built with that in mind.

For DJI users, FlyFishRC also developed a silicone vibration-damping camera insert specifically for the DJI O4 Air Unit, helping reduce jello in DVR footage. It also remains compatible with 19 mm and 20 mm cameras, making it a flexible option for different FPV camera builds.

The redesigned anti-slip battery pad now offers even better grip and stronger adhesive, while the integrated rear XT60 mount improves safety by reducing the risk of the power lead getting hit by props in a crash. It also makes battery connection quicker and easier with one hand.
