The FlyFishRC Volador II VX5 is the upgraded second-generation 5-inch FPV freestyle frame, refined based on feedback from pilots and testers of the original V1 version. In the V2 edition, FlyFishRC introduced a wide range of practical improvements to better match the needs of modern freestyle pilots who want a clean build, strong durability, and precise flight performance.

The Volador II VX uses a Squashed X geometry for maximum control and confident freestyle handling. It keeps the high compatibility and straightforward layout that made the first generation so popular, while adding smart design details that make building easier, cleaner, and more reliable. The independently removable arms and tight structural fit help reduce frame resonance, while the carefully designed TPU parts give the build a neat, integrated look.

For DJI users, FlyFishRC also developed a silicone vibration-damping insert for the DJI O4 Air Unit camera, designed to reduce unwanted “jello” in DVR footage. It is also compatible with 19 mm / 20 mm cameras, giving builders more flexibility when choosing their FPV setup.

The frame is built from premium T700 carbon fiber and high-strength CNC aluminum alloy parts, with a smooth finish and evenly chamfered edges. That means better durability, better cable protection, and a more premium overall feel. The redesigned battery pad now offers stronger grip and better adhesive performance, while the integrated rear XT60 connector improves safety and makes battery connection easier with one hand.

The Volador II VX5 includes the accessories needed for both analog and HD FPV builds. Hardware is supplied with pre-applied Loctite for added reliability, and the compact frame structure is engineered to minimize resonance as much as possible.
