The FlyFishRC Tony 5 Sub250 O4 Pro is a lightweight 5-inch FPV freestyle frame designed for pilots who want the classic feel of a full-size 5” quad while keeping overall weight as low as possible. As regulations continue to make heavier builds less practical, Tony was created to give hobby pilots a real chance to build a responsive and durable sub-250g 5-inch FPV drone.

This frame was developed with three priorities in mind: low weight, great flight performance, and solid durability. Building a true 5-inch sub-250 platform always involves compromises, but Tony has been refined to deliver an excellent balance of agility, strength, and everyday usability. It’s the kind of frame you’ll want to keep taking out for freestyle sessions again and again.

Tony is a straightforward and builder-friendly platform, fully ready for the DJI O4 system. It features signature CNC-machined aluminum camera side plates for improved camera protection during crashes. The frame is also compatible with analog FPV setups, selected HDZero, and Walksnail HD systems as well as a wide range of VTX options. For best fit, always verify dimensions against your chosen components.

To keep the final takeoff weight as low as possible, an AIO flight controller is strongly recommended, although a 20x20 mini stack can also work well. In one example test build, a setup using an AIO 40A FC, Caddx Vista Nebula Pro, FlyFishRC Flash 2004 motors, TBS Crossfire Nano, HQ bi-blade props, a GNB HV 380mAh 6S battery, and a single battery strap came in at 248.7g total weight.

If you plan to use the DJI O4 system, keep in mind that the final build weight will typically rise to around 260g, since O4 is noticeably heavier than Vista-based setups. If staying below 250g is a priority, consider a 4S battery with similar capacity or reducing weight elsewhere in the build.
