What is DJI Care Refresh?
DJI Care Refresh is insurance for DJI products. Its cost is covered by the insurance company with which the manufacturer DJI has a contract, and can be purchased at authorized DJI stores, including our site. This is a form of insurance that, unlike the standard warranty, covers damage resulting from operator errors, flooding, etc. Whenever your drone breaks down, it will be replaced with a new one or repaired for a fee, so you will receive a unit in the form of a fully operational drone, camera or gimbal that does not differ visually and technically from a new unit.
For which DJI product can I buy DJI Care Refresh insurance?
You can buy DJI Care Refresh insurance on most DJI devices. Below are Dji Care Refresh prices for a selection of the most commonly purchased drone models:

Why DJI Care Refresh when there is a warranty?
Manufacturer's warranty, provides repair only if there is a manufacturing or design defect in the product. Care Refresh covers damages that are not covered by the warranty, i.e.: flooding, sinking due to the fault of the operator, malfunctioning of the smartphone/tablet, collision due to the fault of the operator, other mishaps that are not the result of a malfunctioning device (e.g. bird attack).
What DJI Care Refresh insurance covers?
By purchasing DJI Care Refresh you protect your drone, camera or gimball from accidents caused by the operator's fault, so m.in. :
- collapse of
- drowning
- collision
- accident caused by interference with the drone's operating signal
Duration of DJI Care insurance
DJI Care Refresh insurance can cover 12 or 24 months, depending on the plan selected. For an annual plan, two replacements are possible, and for a two-year plan, four replacements are possible during the term of the insurance.
Can DJI Care Refresh insurance be renewed after one year?
Yes. When you buy DJI Care Refresh for one year you have the option to renew Care 2 times with an annual plan, for DJI Care Refresh 2 years you can renew the plan 1 time with an annual plan. In both cases, it is possible to extend DJI Care Refresh to a maximum of 3 years. You can activate them if:
- The basic DJI Care Refresh has not yet expired (the 12-month period has not passed or until 15 days after its expiration)
Can I buy DJI Care Refresh insurance for my company?
Yes, as much as possible. In the shopping cart, in the "Your Details" step, enter your TIN and company name.
How to activate DJI Care Refresh insurance?
DJI Care Refresh insurance can be activated on the manufacturer's website up to 48 hours after activation of the device. To activate insurance:
- Go to https://service.dji.com/care/active
- Enter your unique insurance number
- Enter your drone's serial number and contact information
- That's it, you will receive a confirmation to your email address.
How to activate DJI Care Refresh insurance after 48 hours of activation?

What DJI Care Refresh gives you? Do I have to meet any conditions?
DJI insurance gives you full protection for your product. It doesn't matter what happens to it, whether it gets flooded, hits a tree, or falls down. DJI will replace the device with a new product or equivalent in performance.
THE CONDITION IS THE DELIVERY OF THE DAMAGED EQUIPMENT, so if we have sunk the drone - it should be fished out.
Do I have to set up a DJI Care Refresh case myself - or can you do it for me if I bought the equipment from you?
The problem for many people is that you have to speak English when reporting DJI Care Refresh and filling out the form can take some time. We have a lot of experience in this, so if you bought your DJI drone, camera or gimbal from our store, we will do the whole procedure for you. The only thing you have to reckon with is that the mileage of your repair will increase by approx. 3 - 4 business days (a matter of shipping time). However, you can rest assured that the information sent to DJI will be correct and we will advise you whether a paid replacement or under DJI Care Refresh insurance is better.How to send equipment for replacement under DJI Care Refresh?
If you are our customer and you bought your drone from us, you do not need to fill out the form and contact DJI in English. We have a lot of experience in this and will send the drone for you. All you have to do is contact us.
However, if you want to do it yourself:
1. To take advantage of the DJI Care replacement, report the repair through the website dJI service and select Submit a repair request :
2. Then, after you enter the serial number of the device you want to send, a pop-up window will pop up informing you that you can use a faster service option, tzw.
DJI Care Refresh Express. If we choose the Express service, after entering the serial number of the device and the address to which the drone is to be sent back, it will automatically redirect us to the payment page using PayPal, and after receiving it, DJI will send a waybill to our email address and a link to order a courier who will pick up the drone from us at no extra charge.

3. If you click Back, you will return to the standard accident form, where you must select from the given options for the reason for the incident. After selecting Learn More, a description of the repair process in standard mode and in Express mode will appear, as well as a button that allows you to proceed to submit an instruction to use the service. Select the option Continue to use Online Repair Request, if you think you don't want to use the insurance exchange for the time being.

In the case of the standard DJI Care Refresh procedure, after creating a request, we must send the product to the manufacturer, which will then proceed to assess the loss and price the repair - it will give us a choice of traditional paid repair (which most often almost equals the price of a new unit) or repair under DJI Care Refresh. Only then do we receive the payment link and the drone is exchanged and sent back to us.
From experience, we know that the duration of repair under DJI Care Refresh Express takes approx. 6 - 7 working days, already counting with two-way shipping, while in the case of standard mode, we may not even see a new copy until 2.5 to 3 weeks.
For the company: It is important to remember that DJI will issue an invoice for the replacement if the entity has an active VAT-EU number ("European TIN")
How to find the serial number of my DJI equipment?
The serial number of the DJI drone is located on the battery flap or in place of the battery. It is a string of approx. 10 characters, which consists of numbers and letters. The drone's serial number can also be scanned, as it is additionally shown as a QR code.
